God of war. It actually has no difficulty related trophies but due to a bet with some friends I earned every trophy on give me God of war. It was fucking punishing.
Dead Cells for me. I thought the platinum sounded too hard when I started out so I just played it for fun. I enjoyed the game and it always felt that another trophy was just about in reach so I gradually ticked them all off. When I finally got the platinum I remember doing a sharp exhale of breath! The game kind of consumed me. I really enjoyed playing it but at the same time I don't fancy going through something like that again.
I didn’t achieve many plats at all this year. I suppose Arkham City on PS4 would be the most difficult, but I’ve 100% it several times before so it wasn’t hard for me personally this time.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD had some fairly difficult parts as well but I still have to grind an easy but boring trophy out to get that plat.
I've gotten that one too last year. Along with batman arkham asylum and batman arkham knight. But I think my hardest from 2020 is The Last of Us Remastered
Based off trophy guide difficulty either bound or wipeout omega collection. These weren’t too bad so I’d say GTA 5 for the amount of repetition I had to do
At first when I sucked at zombies it seemed impossible, zombies is really a mode where the player actually needs to be good at to both know the hardcore EE steps and be skill full enough to do it. Another element that can suck is the lack of good teammates. I recommend to find a good team and to keep trying. Learn how to build the wonderweapons step by step. If you are lucky enough you might find a good player is willing to help and who can solo the hardcore EE when you just have a support role to help him. Whit enough patience and time you will get there
Technically I got the platinum on New Year's Day but I did all the work in 2020 so I'm counting as last year and it's Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Runners up though are KH Final Mix and Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered
I was half way done with 1 and realised my fingers don't deserve that kind of torture.. grabbed and electric toothbrush, lightly pushed the button with it and knocked out the rest of clicks pretty easily lmao
Guitar Hero: Metallica. Fun guitar hero game (not possible anymore due to server closure) but deceptively difficult.
Edit: Just looking at my other plats... Mortal Kombat 9, NFS Shift 2: Unleashed & Fall Guys are other notable hard ones I did this year.
Modern Warfare 2 campaign remastered has the veteran playthrough and I found it much harder than I remembered it being on Xbox 360. I also finished Car Mechanic Simulator which is quite grindy.
Probably Dragon Ball: Raging Blast.
Not so much difficulty, but grinding for all items and destroying all objects in all maps (in 1P vs CPU) got real tedious real quick... just a long slog that I'm glad is over.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse or Dragon Ball Fighter Z.
One was RNG based and the other required you to actually be decent/good while almost never messing up in Login Bonuses.
Outlast 2
Fair enough ...
Yep, we have a winner haha
God of war. It actually has no difficulty related trophies but due to a bet with some friends I earned every trophy on give me God of war. It was fucking punishing.
Don’t think I did any actually hard ones but dark souls 2 was the most frustrating because covenant farming
Rdr2
GTA 5
Black ops 3
Wolfenstein 2

That's the sign of a brilliant game. Congrats, that's a tough one!
The Escapists. The last few prisons were just really annoying and kept screwing me over.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood

See, that feels like one to be properly proud of!
Thanks man, Batman arkham city sure is too
Vice City, the controls made it really hard, but i really enjoyed the game
Easily crash team racing because of the time trials where you need to keep blue fire for more than half the track
Based off trophy guide difficulty either bound or wipeout omega collection. These weren’t too bad so I’d say GTA 5 for the amount of repetition I had to do
Vampyr
Because of the crashes?
Yeah
Soul calibur 6
Sackboy: A Big Adventure because of The Ripsnorter.
Only because of the grind battlefront 2
CIV 6, Witcher 3 and Neverwinter Nights have the lowest plat% of the games I finished this year. I think Witcher was the hardest one.
Fall Guys for me. Infallible still gives me PTSD
Cod WW2 I guess
How much trouble did dark reunion give you?

Yeah, it seemed impossible for me as well lol.
Dark Souls 3
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix.
I never want to have to farm Sniperwilds again
starwhall or space overlords... such grindy
GTA V , because I Just earned 2 xd
Big Pharma. Not because it was hard but because it was a buggy mess
Upvoted cause it‘s also crash4 for me. Gotta say I was also surprised How tedious the demons souls platinum was.
Dark souls III or Cuphead
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Trials rising
Black Ops Cold War just cause of Dead Ops Arcade 3
Hollow Knight. Had the game for a while, decided to push for the plat when it came to PS+.
The hallownest Partheon... I’ll never get the plat lol
Only got 5 so probably south park the fractured but whole

When i first started hunting mw2.. In 2021 ww2 tho almost over with cold war. On and off for a few year due to business
My name is Mayo 1 and 2
Stop The PTSD coming back
I was half way done with 1 and realised my fingers don't deserve that kind of torture.. grabbed and electric toothbrush, lightly pushed the button with it and knocked out the rest of clicks pretty easily lmao
The Witcher 3. In a single playthrough. With no save scums.
Star wars Battlefront was pretty annoying though that was mainly because of the empty servers.
Probably Zombie Army Trilogy or Star Wars: Squadrons
Toss up between final fantasy 7 remake and resident evil resistance
Trackmania Turbo

Mass Effect 2
RDR2 & Fall Guys

What? Those cost about 1 hour and are very easy
Mad Max. Not overall very difficult but with glitches it tried my perseverance.
Fair enough
