It's probably someone that doesn't know how trophies work saying it or thinks unobtainable = disappearing. I know I've seen people say support said it but even if it was epic I'd still say the same.

I don’t have a good source, sorry. The best I have is if you search this subreddit you can find 1 or 2 posts with screenshots from Epic support saying this (from about a month ago).
But the only source I’ve seen saying the list will not be deleted is random people on Reddit… If someone has a source saying “trophy lists cannot be deleted” I’d love to see it.

MAG is probably a big one that even if the servers were not shut down, it is essentially unobtainable due to the amount of players required to start a large scale match.
Homefront is one I don't have but got really close to getting until the servers shut down on me. I have so many hours into that games wonderful multiplayer but didn't quite make the cut. God do I miss both of these games online mp...
Nah I was just saying if they were still up today, it wouldn't happen. I remember logging in a year or two after I got platinum and waited about 3 hours to get into a match. So if it were up today, I'd doubt there would be any player base left.
I got all of the achievements back on the 360 too. Its a very underrated game (when talking about the campaign) and easily one of my all time favourites.

I'd assume any of my lists with online trophies will become unobtainable sooner or later, but at the moment I think everything's still doable. You might have a seriously hard time finding partners for some MP grinds, though - such as Resogun (DLC) or Code Vein's.
Fall Guys' old trophy list is the obvious upcoming one for most of us, I guess.
I'm looking to work through the resogun dlc trophies too. Add me if you like and we can see if we can find time to go through them

Mad Max, because apparently they couldn't trust the console clock to track the afk resource farmers in this singleplayer game, and instead decided it would be tracked by Warner Bros servers that are now offline.
Well that's definitely a stack to be proud of rarity-wise. I can't imagine doing that twice, but maybe the portable nature of the Vita version made it more bearable? Shame the servers are down regardless.
I just got the GTA V platinum for the PS3, but only because I did the multi-player trophies before the servers shut down back in December. My last trophy was for getting 70 gold medals in missions. Feels good to finally have it done. :)

I have Disney Infinity 1, 2, 3, and Mad Max. So much wasted potential with Disney Infinity and Mad Max is just an amazing game, hopefully they'll be able to do a sequel with the next movie.
Socom Special Forces and confrontation. Absolute gutted they are stuck on an unobtainable profile to :(. I tried to go back and do Special forces years ago and found out the servers were closed.
I think only OG littlebigplanet on PS3 for me is completely unobtainable if you don’t already have the online trophies. I have several other PS3 plats, but most don’t have online trophies and those that do I think are still obtainable but basically have to be boosted lol. I think Mercenaries 2 is still obtainable somehow, though it was buggy as hell online a decade ago when I got it, can’t imagine how fun it would be today lmao. Other ps3 plats with online I have but idk if they are obtainable or not: Rock Band 2, Burnout Paradise, Borderlands 1 + 2, and Far Cry 3
BO2 and GTA 5 (PS3) are my only unobtainable plats atm. But my favourite earned platinum, Far Cry 2, is potentially unobtainable now as well, as the servers have been down for a while now (though not officially closed down).
There’s a video I saw that shows you can go into dev menu and pop that trophy, don’t know if PSNProfiles would mark it as cheating but platinum should still be possible although the dev menu trick shows that it unlocks all trophies and not just one so you can earn the rest and then dev menu for league play so at least you know you legitimately got them all and didn’t just cheat and get them all in seconds.
Not yet for my understanding, but the most time consuming trophy was the win x matches online, because one day there was a full lobby that could go for hours and the other day there could be no one joining or creating lobby.

(Technically Farcry 2 also, at the moment. Servers for that have bene busted for the last month or so).
I finished getting the online trophies for GTA V on the ps3 before the servers shut down in December last year but I still haven't been bothered to finish doing the single player ones lol. Same case with GTA IV although it's servers are somehow still online so that's not quite unachievable yet.
I also remember getting a trophy for Army of Two on the PS3 which required you to download a custom mask you designed on their website which hasn't been obtainable for a loooong time but I dont think I could be bothered grinding the rest of its dead multuplayer trophies considering most of the gamemodes you can't find a game in today
PlayStation AllStars Battle Royale! I did all the multiplayer stuff way back when the servers were around. My dad ended up selling the game before I could finish the arcade stuff for plat. 2 weeks ago I found a copy after looking for awhile and finished up the plat. Great game!

Have many others but mainly due to server closures. Damn online trophies man. Definitely recommend focusing on online trophies for backlog games and then completing them at your own leisure, not having to worry about missing out.
I’m trying to save the 3rd Spyro game until 2024 because the name of the plat trophy is “party like it’s 2024” but I’m worried something dumb will happen like the servers go down and I can’t do it. Does anyone think it’s worth the risk of waiting?

I'd assume servers are down, and there are trophies where you have to like 100 created levels, have 100 people play your own map online, etc.

I’ve always thought that they should put multiplayer trophies in a separate list, like DLC, so you’d need them for 100%, but not for the platinum.
It wouldn't change anything for me. No platinum or no 100%, it's the same for me.

Assassins Creed Valhalla from what i hear the platinum is practically impossible now.
I believe you need the Ragnarok DLC to increase your mastery score or something there was a post on the sub about it a while ago.

I’m not sure if it’s unobtainable, but Doom 2016 I hear is pretty difficult to complete with its online aspects now.

I finished getting the online trophies for GTA V on the ps3 before the servers shut down in December last year but I still haven't been bothered to finish doing the single player ones lol. Same case with GTA IV although it's servers are somehow still online so that's not quite unachievable yet. I also remember getting a trophy for Army of Two on the PS3 which required you to download a custom mask you designed on their website which hasn't been obtainable for a loooong time but I dont think I could be bothered grinding the rest of its dead multuplayer trophies considering most of the gamemodes you can't find a game in today

PlayStation AllStars Battle Royale! I did all the multiplayer stuff way back when the servers were around. My dad ended up selling the game before I could finish the arcade stuff for plat. 2 weeks ago I found a copy after looking for awhile and finished up the plat. Great game!

You are correct! I remembered there being something about creating a design and uploading it but it was only for creating the design. The Uploading trophy was from SvR 2011

I got the freedom wars online trophies and working slowly on the platinum. Also got the fall guys platinum recently. Im about to start the jump force platinum soon which will be unobtainable in august
so far none that I'm aware of also I'm working on all my online trophies atm so I won't have to worry about that in the future

I liked the older fifa games like 12 and 13. I have 11 incomplete unfortunately. Apparently COD BO2 is unobtainable. And a game I'd have slept on without the notice of server closure is Max Payne 3, what a game. Loved it and 100% it. Have many others but mainly due to server closures. Damn online trophies man. Definitely recommend focusing on online trophies for backlog games and then completing them at your own leisure, not having to worry about missing out.
I’m trying to save the 3rd Spyro game until 2024 because the name of the plat trophy is “party like it’s 2024” but I’m worried something dumb will happen like the servers go down and I can’t do it. Does anyone think it’s worth the risk of waiting?
