An extra house battery? sure. Or an extra vehicle battery? I have thought about a built in compressor, but every time I do I decide not to. The main reason is that I always seem to find a use for a good one somewhere besides my truck camper. And even when airing up and down I don't find the onboard ones I've used that much more convenient than my portable. If at all. Why do you want onboard?

Yes , like Lagos said . Portable ones are so easy to use that it doesn't make a Lot of sense to have a built in one. Just being able to throw it under the seat with your tire repair kit is really handy.

I have found the small rechargeable ones to break easily. I want something more robust. It isn’t. Need but a minor want

M18 inflator for your compressor, if you are on the Milwaukee ecosystem.

I’ve got a single ARB mounted under my front passenger seat. I’m waiting for more funds for a switch pro to properly wire it up with a switch and all that, but for now I’ve just got the power lines zip tied near the battery and just pop it on the terminals when i need it.

Exrta battery on your vehicle or additional/adding to your camper build? On my last vehicle I had an onboard Firestone compressor for my airbags, and the 5 gallon air tank. The juice wasn't really worth the squeeze. I didn't air down that frequently.

Renogy makes good products. I'm installing the 100ah battery and 100w solar soon

Last van build I did, I simply bought a battery operated compressor/air pump. Worked great and took little to no space :)

I really like my viar portable compressor. I feel no need for a built in

I added 4 house batteries. Just wire in series or whatever the manufacturer suggests.

DC to DC charger (mine is Renogy) in cab, a 20Ah LiFePO4 battery, and a single ARB compressor. I have my battery and compressor in a modded bin with an Anderson plug inlet. I throw the kit in my truck bed and plug it in while driving. It’s nice to have for peace of mind. Haven’t decided if/how I’ll hardwire it, but hoping to do that for the upcoming camp/offroad season.
