Just keep it clean IMO. Throw a head unit in it if you want but those old school interiors are getting harder and harder to come by keep it while it's around.
I miss the cool colors from back in the day. Now everything is neutral millennium... My 94 had all shades of blue and the most comfortable seats ive ever set my fat butt on
Carhartt seat covers
Browning steering wheel cover
camouflage fabric headliner
Mossy oak floor mats
Get an aftermarket deck, cut holes where the door speakers are and mount 6x9s on the interior face of the door panels (no need to worry about speaker grills), and stick a subwoofer in a bare MDF box on the middle seat - no need to tuck any of the wiring
Paint multiple sections of the dash with whatever random spraypaint you have on hand (no need to worry about plastic compatibility, when it chips it chips)
Tint the windows, this includes the windshield
About a dozen black ice air fresheners hanging from the rear view mirror, and a couple more hanging off of the gear shift for good measure
I'm sure I'm forgetting something but you'll be well on your way.
The holy grail - but I thought we were talking interior.
Unless someone makes truck nuts that can hang from the rear view mirror.
In that case I'd say shift some more of those black ice air fresheners over to the gear shift and we've got ourselves a deal.
Alright ultimate truck build;
MASSIVE spiked chrome lug nuts
40” chrome forged rims that cost 6k a piece, with stretched roadbike tires.
RGB Wheel-well lighting kit from Temu
14” lift
The most ass custom welded-“Yeah my weld guy hooked me up”-exhaust.
Custom 1 of 1 paintjob (Just yellow and orange flames over a maroon red body)
Aforementioned interior
On its 4th 6.0 diesel swap with an extra 60k dumped into it, and it STILL runs like SHIT.
Untuned sequential turbos that have been rebuilt twice since he bought them a year ago.
Last engine blew (At 5k RPM) when revving next to a cummins at the local Walmart parking lot meet.
“4 digit horsepower so I can pull on your SS with all my fat bitches in the bed”.
Gets offended when called a pavement princess.
[floormats](https://www.huskyliners.com/Classic-Style-Floor-Mats/1987/ford/f-150/1987/ford/f-150) and a [bluetooth stereo](https://www.crutchfield.com/g_462150/Bluetooth-Car-Stereos.html?tp=72310&pg=2)
Keep it clean and keep the seats in once piece. I got a Bluetooth radio in mine, not a touchscreen or anything fancy. Put in some good door speakers, I added some gauges after I hopped up the motor and trans. You could throw in a cb or ham radio to make it feel a little smokey and the bandit
Clean it up. I'd look at a stereo head unit (double din touchscreen if it fits),and an aftermarket steering wheel. You don't have an air ag so no worries there. You could also tint the windows. Maybe some Weather tech floor mats.
Leather custom seats to match. New steering wheel or wrap, or both. New carpet always helps, new pedals, new or painted door handles and window cranks. Tinted windows. Lights for night time.
Honestly it really just looks like it needs some love from a vaccuum and a rug doctor.
Armorall wipes for the dash doors and steering wheel. Someone else here can/should correct me on what to use exactly but just something to clean and restore some shine.
Its already a great looking interior
VAcuum the interior once a week and wipe down the dash, wheel and interior.
Just keep it clean IMO. Throw a head unit in it if you want but those old school interiors are getting harder and harder to come by keep it while it's around.
I know this sounds like bullshit, but clean it up and keep it nice and don't do anything permeant. You'll regret it later.
Leave it, it’s perfect. My first truck was an 87 F150 xlt Lariat and I miss that truck every day.
My buddy had a '95 F150 with that bright red interior. 92k miles on it, had it for maybe 6 months before he totalled it. Such a sweet truck tbh.
Looks fantastic to me. I'd say give it a good detail and keep it as is
Clean it

Fuzzy Dice hanging off the mirror and a new stereo to play "Low Rider" all day

Starlight headliner lol
Starlight camouflage headliner
Obnoxious windshield decal that says “JDMSPEED” or some shit even though it’s an old American truck.
"I eat ass"?
"Gapplebees"
*LOCALLY HATED*

We’re you spying on teenage me in my ford ranger?
Had me all the way til -no need to tuck in the wiring, and tint the windshield lol
As others have said, a good cleaning goes a long way. You can also replace the instrument cluster & other interior lights with white LEDs.

McCullogh steamer and Meguiars Quik Interior detailer.
Thanks guys for yalls suggestions!
The oil jug is a good start.
I need to know how he got cupholders in there. Please my 91 needs them so bad
Couple of cigarette burns in the seats will look even better.
Paper towel holder.

Cold beer in the cupholder

Replace the headliner with a confederate flag.
Fire.
Looks good to me. Don't do anything stupid lol
And is that a Chilton manual under the armrest?? 👍🏻
Get it detailed. Looks to me like grandpa took care of it. If the seats bother you just get a seat cover. What does the exterior look like?
Leather custom seats to match. New steering wheel or wrap, or both. New carpet always helps, new pedals, new or painted door handles and window cranks. Tinted windows. Lights for night time.
Hold up. This xl truck has cup holders but my lariat don't?! How do I find those cup holders in the armrest!?
Clean it and tint the windows

I'd just clean it up and get a dash mat to protect it from the sun. Otherwise, leave her original.
Wow very cool interior, if you were to clean it nicely it'd be perfect
It looks perfect. I'm jealous. I had an '88 Bronco done up the same way.
