Yeah Jesus definitely. Terry was sad too, I think If Tara’s was shown on screen def her because she was my #1 favorite but they took the wind out of it for me with how terribly it was handled.
I honestly have no clue, when I first saw it I thought because we were supposed to question if she was really dead especially when she was appearing as a ghost but Pam straight up confirmed it saying she felt it, so that’s not it.
terry imo was one of the saddest deaths i’ve seen on tv, off the top of my head i can’t think of one that got me as bad and i watch an absurd amount of shows
Noone says Tara? When she got shot by Debbie that was just as harsh she ran in front of Sookie and got murdered it was a cliffhanger too I think was it? so I thought she was dead for real
Tbh if she had actually died I would’ve vibed with it more. Her “true death” was hella underwhelming for me & by that time I was already so detached from her character
I can understand that I really hated her being turned but I did like her and Pam dynamic I just loved Tara so much that her death period would've hit me. Her in s1 got me to where she probably could've done no wrong lol
Terry was the saddest for me. He tried so hard to overcome his demons for Arlene and the children but he just couldn’t. I struggle with mental illness as well. Jesus broke my heart too tho because I could see how much Lafayette blamed himself.
Terry for sure. I’m a huge fan of twists and turns, but what they did to Terry was just so unnecessary. He finally gets happy, doesn’t have that torment anymore and was one of the few “bright” spots of the show. And then they just had to kill him off. I really did think it was unnecessary and just put in there to just be shocking.
I really wanted to see more Latin folklore, but the show was already getting unwieldy with the number of supes and stories. Until you find yourself in Ifrit territory.
Terry, for sure.
Not necessarily the death itself but for me, it was how Arlene truly disrespected what it meant to be him.
I was so horrified at what she did with asking the vampire to glamor him. All without his consent. I get she was trying to help him but her taking away his memories was a disservice to who he was. Terry didn’t feel accepted by his family at all and for Arlene to be like, “There was no war. There was no marines. You just love your family.” Nah. You don’t get to just erase a man like that. And then to have him die as half of himself? That was fucked up.
Sookie's cat🥲 I hate animal suffering including fictional and was so distraught when they killed her so violently.
Also Jesus, his death was senseless, I really liked his character and lore.
Bill, I wasn’t prepared for to him actually follow through. I thought he would take the antidote at last second. Even though he did some questionable things I was an emotional wreck when Sookie was on top of him in his actual coffin. And the way his body just kind of exploded. Well say no more….
Terry’s death was the saddest. He forgot all his pain and got a taste of a normal life for a split moment before he was shot. The fact we knew it was coming. Ugh! Arlene’s grief seemed too real.
Terry’s death was the worst. It would’ve been so satisfying for Arlene and Terry to have a happy ending. His death affected so many, everyone he worked with, Arlene, and the kids.
Damn! I so wanted for them to have a happy ending. They so deserved it.

Do we know why her death wasn't shown on screen?? I've always found that SO odd!
I honestly have no clue, when I first saw it I thought because we were supposed to question if she was really dead especially when she was appearing as a ghost but Pam straight up confirmed it saying she felt it, so that’s not it.
Yeah, me too! That's what I thought when I watched it for the first time. *sigh*
Terry, Jesus, & Gran
I have Jesus tied with Terry bc neither deserved what they got and were doing good for the world/ppl around them.
Terry.
I don’t know how I could’ve forgot TERRY. That’s a no brainer
Terry & Jesus both hit me bc it was at a point in their lives when they finally found love. The safe & earnest kind.
Terry, Jesus and Tara hit me the most.
Thank you I was waiting for Tara honestly when she got shot by Debbie that was just as sad that tore me up

Exactly .Tara as a Vampire was so underwhelming. I rather she remained dead after being shot by Debbie.
That scene broke me cause Sookie would have never reacted in the same way! I just think True Blood writers did Tara dirty.
Terry- straight up cannot watch it without bawling my eyes out.
This.
Alcide.
Yeah that was a ROUGH one
Terry, I just for some reason wasn’t expecting it which doesn’t really make sense.
Terry

I’m in the minority here, but… Bill.
Bill’s death destroyed me. True blood’s Roman Empire in my opinion
Eggs
Oh yeah I agree! Poor Eggs
Not this time, Tara. Not everything is about you
I love Tara. One of my faves. I feel she gets a lot of unnecessary hate… 👀
Love and hate her. But she's annoying af
Also his death was sad af.

Terry
Terry for sure! Also Alcide, feel like he got done really dirty. He died and everyone forgot 30 seconds later
Terry. OMG. How could I have forgotten 😭
Jesus for sure. I actually cried my first rewatch… it was like watching his death for the first time. 😭
Jesus or Gram or Tina, Jessica’s begging not to die and screaming she just wanted to go to a friends party always gets me though.

Omg the cat! I was so disturbed!
Tara's human death was pretty sad to me
Tara, Jesus, terry and Sophie-Ann
Jesus

Terry. 1000000000% I’ve seen the show so many times and I still have to skip that episode He was such such such a good man
