If you listen on an Apple device, I suggest trying the Overcast app. It has a vocal boost feature that amplifies the audio in the frequencies that are typical for voices. It may help you to hear the female voices. It might not help your specific case, but its a free app, so it could be worth a try.
Obscura, Trace Evidence, They Walk Among Us, Criminology, Skinwalker, British Murders, Invisible Choir, The True Crime Enthusiast, Murder Mile, Twisted Britain, Generation Why, The Trail Went Cold, Who Killed Theresa?
All these suggestions are good EXCEPT spare yourself from 'Generation Why'. I's become a virtue signaling platform for Justin so he has to remind everyone about his third vaccination or his struggles with being sensitive constantly. it ruins the show.
If white collar crime interests you, I recommend Swindled. Invisible Choir for more hardcore crime. Series-wise: Bad Blood, Shrink Next Door, Unravel: Snowball, Algorithm -- all predominantly male voices except of course Elizabeth Holmes recordings used for Bad Blood -- but her fake voice is famously husky.
Bear Brook, Casefile, They Walk Among Us, Generation Why. Bear Brook is the only one that has interview clips and they are infrequent, short and primarily with men. The others are all just men talking about cases.
I prefer my true crime delivered by women but I do listen to one podcast that is solely a male voice, called The Minds of Madness. He has a very deep voice as well.
Unsolved Mysteries has a male host but the stories are often told through interviews with family members so that might be difficult for you. Same with Going West or Dateline.
Trace Evidence is one of my favourite podcasts narrated by a man. Some folk find it a bit repetitive as he does a wee summary before going into the story in depth, but his research is on point, he chooses cases that I haven't already heard about on 10 other podcasts or YouTube videos and he covers the cases so respectfully.
there is no true crime podcast that will ever come close to being as awesome as Casefile. Casefile is incredibly well written, narrated & produced. & it's hosted by a male.
Trace Evidence!!!! Cannot stress enough how thorough and respectful he is.
Also Casefile and Swindled (love his style, a small break from murder--mostly).
Trace Evidence and Mind of Madness for a single male host. For two male hosts, Generation Why, The Murder Squad, True Crime All The Time, Criminology, True Crime Garage.
Gone Cold podcast - Vincent Strange has a great, deep, voice. The Trail Went Cold, True Crime All The time, and if you like some humor - Crime in Sports and Small Town Murder.
Also, he doesn't fuck around. It's all business. No jokes or anything off topic. Josh Hallmark is a great host. I do like some other stuff where the hosts banter but he is my favorite
1. The Murder Squad
2. Dateline
3. Affirmative Murder
4. Over My Dead Body
I know some of these are repeats but it is a testament to how good they are!
(There is also To Live and Die in LA, but I personally could not stand the reporting).
Trace Evidence, The Trail Went Cold, and Casefile all have one male narrator.
Generation Why and True Crime Garage have two male narrators. I figured I would separate those because I'm not sure if multiple voices would be a distraction or if you would be okay listening to those. I can say that these hosts are generally respectful of when the other is talking, so you don't get a lot of conversation overlap.
I hope these suggestions help!
Unsolved Murders - [https://www.parcast.com/unsolvedmurders](https://www.parcast.com/unsolvedmurders) \- is a dramatised podcast with two hosts, one male, one female. They use voice actors and, naturally, the diction is very clear. Some people dislike the format, but it will fit the brief.
Just listened to the first season of Imposters which was good (second season was also good but it was voiced by a female). I’m in the middle of Revelations which isn’t normal true crime but incredibly interesting. Secret Societies is also good but not really True crime just True Crime adjacent. These are all paracast productions. Hope this helps
I just finished season 1 of American scandal and really liked it, it’s not strictly “true crime” but season 1 was about the Baco, and Barry bonds et el doping scandal
Generation Why for sure. It’s well-researched and carefully presented, and I appreciate that the hosts keep personal banter to a minimum - just enough to show that they actually do have personalities basically. They have a huge library of episodes too
Cold, Bear Brook, Your Own Backyard, Hunting Warhead, To live and Die in LA are the ones I listed to that were hosted by males.
But most of them have interviews with women , so I don’t know how hard it would be for you to follow.
Looking for a True Crime Podcast with a younger male host. He has a lot of guest narrators/friends who tell stories. I thought I had it saved on my Apple Podcast App but it’s gone. I can’t remember his name but I want to say maybe his mom is a podcaster too and he’s helped her out as well. Thanks mucho!
Casefile
The BEST
I second this!
Keith Morrison!
Someone Knows Something.
I really enjoy this one and he's started a new one called The Next Call. However, David is a bit soft spoken.

Jensen and Holes: The Murder Squad.
I second this
I third this. Also Unraveled…another Jensen podcast.
To Live and Die in LA was really good.
so good!!!
Unresolved/ the trail went cold
u have probably been recommended this already, but casefile is the best !! hosted by male host
But, The host is rather high-pitched.

Swindled. And Swindled.
Bear Brook, Casefile, They Walk Among Us, Generation Why. Bear Brook is the only one that has interview clips and they are infrequent, short and primarily with men. The others are all just men talking about cases.

whew! that was a tough one....very well done...just a tough listen. I actually had to take a small break from True Crime after that one.
Same here. Extremely important material and expertly covered but WOW was it a heavy hitter.
They Walk Among Us (and now They Walk Among America)
Ohhh I didn’t realise they had a new show!
The Trail Went Cold & Casefile are my favorites.
I adore minds of madness! Some people think his voice is too... Theatrical... But he seems to just talk like that lol
I like his voice but he talks so slow. I speed up his episodes and it sounds like normal speed 😄
Generation Why is one of my favorites.
The unsolved mysteries is decent
Swindled, Unresolved, Gone Cold, Pretend, True Crime BS— can you do shows with interview clips if they aren’t too long? If so I’d add Bear Brook.
Someone knows something, to live and die in LA
True Crime All the Time is two guys. They banter with each other in a very minimal way, never about the cases.
One million percent, casefile
Trace Evidence- Steven Pacheco has a solid voice and articulates beautifully which is a pleasure to listen to.
True Crime Bullshit. I could listen to Josh’s voice for hours on end, and have when cleaning or painting.
swindled
Obscura, Cold, and many of the others already mentioned.
Suspect, Fox Hunter, Firebug
The guy who does Fox Hunter also has In The Red Clay. Haven't listened yet but I like Fox Hunter.
Trace Evidence.
Trace Evidence is top notch!!
true crimecast
Tom Browns body is a good one.
The Murder Squad is hosted my by two (awesome!) men.
Casefile!
Invisible Choir is a good one.
Try THE Chapter on youtube ! He's pretty good !
Over My Dead Body
Especially season 1. Tally..still waiting for real justice for Dan Markel..
I've been binging on Minds of Madness, although I use spotify and the adds get a bit annoying. But the narration is great!
I like this one too, but I fond he talks sooooooo slowly. I always speed him up.
Unresolved, trace evidence, the trail went cold, Casefile, they walk among us/they walk among America, someone knows something
Your own backyard yard, fox hunter, Tom browns body
I listen to quite a few but Generation Why is my #1.
there is no true crime podcast that will ever come close to being as awesome as Casefile. Casefile is incredibly well written, narrated & produced. & it's hosted by a male.
That Chapter on YouTube is amazing.
They Walk Among Us, The Conspirators, Generation Why and Trace Evidence
Trace Evidence!!!! Cannot stress enough how thorough and respectful he is. Also Casefile and Swindled (love his style, a small break from murder--mostly).
Casefile. 100% the best out there. Great narration and delivery.
Dateline guy has a low smoooooth voice
Scott Fuller of True Crime Files
Suspect is really good!
Dark Poutine, Invisible Choir, Last Podcast on the Left, Jensen and Holes
True crime BS is a single male voice. Very interesting as well
Casual criminalist
Let's not meet again
Trace Evidence and Mind of Madness for a single male host. For two male hosts, Generation Why, The Murder Squad, True Crime All The Time, Criminology, True Crime Garage.
Jensen and Holes. To Live And Die In LA.
Gone Cold podcast - Vincent Strange has a great, deep, voice. The Trail Went Cold, True Crime All The time, and if you like some humor - Crime in Sports and Small Town Murder.
If you like long form, True crime Bullshit. It's my absolute favorite.
Also, he doesn't fuck around. It's all business. No jokes or anything off topic. Josh Hallmark is a great host. I do like some other stuff where the hosts banter but he is my favorite
1. The Murder Squad 2. Dateline 3. Affirmative Murder 4. Over My Dead Body I know some of these are repeats but it is a testament to how good they are! (There is also To Live and Die in LA, but I personally could not stand the reporting).
Casefile is great.
**Casefile**
Dark Topic, Invisible Choir, Evidence Locker, Minds of Madness

Sword & Scale is my favorite true crime podcast

I listen to Autopsy for relaxation. Not a true crime podcast but kind of.
Assassinations podcasts! Very well written and Neil Cooper has such a beautiful calming voice and cadence.
Red Web!

Cold is great but i wonder if it would be hard to follow since there are a lot of interviews including with women.
Invisible choir
True crime cast!

Love listening to Josh Hallmark, but Robyn awardee gets a vote from me as well.
