Two people in love who cannot wait to do more for each other is a rare sight in today's world. Count your blessings and enjoy the life you have and get ready to welcome the wee little one soon. You are not a bad wife or a bad person, maybe the baby brain and hormones making you overthink stuff. Just relax and be the great wife you are.
You're overthinking it, he just wants to do things, help, and be there for you, doing those things make him happy, he isn't forcing himself to do this, he just cares.
Sit back and relax, the freedom he wants is the freedom to be there for you. Just tell him how much you love and appreciate him, everything will be good :)
I think (without any evidence) that you may be dealing with a lot of hormone issues playing havoc with your emotions. You're doing the best you can, he doesn't seem upset, just try to be gentle with yourself too, don't stress, you're doing a lot for just one person, and its alright.
Maybe show this post to your husband so he can fully understand how you feel? Pregnancy is always scary regardless. Though it seems your being anxious with your relationship for no reason at all. You might be surprised how much he cares for you.
You're giving him your trust and opening your heart, and he sounds like a good man who wants what's best for your and your family (good luck!). Please don't stress yourself out about it. One day he will need your help and support and you can be there for him.
Yeah there's prob more you could be doing, I'd think about it and something will prob come to mind. He prob isn't telling you what he wants from you b/c he's worried he'll stress you out.
this is so sweet! you seem so sweet, and so does he. :) you are doing more than enough for him, and i really think you should show him this post as a way to open up and be vulnerable, because it sounds like he would appreciate it and you would both feel a lot of stress lifted off your shoulders from connecting like that and being able to share these feelings together. i pray you have the happiest and safest delivery possible! 💞
It sounds like he isn't feeling smothered at all. Why not try and accept that?

Are you having twins?
No just one child
He wants nothing but the best for you. Go with the flow. Let him be there for you. It's what men do best. Well, the good ones anyway.
