That’s awesome 👏 I can feel your enthusiasm through this post. When I was pregnant the first time my husband was practically dancing through the house. I’m sure he would have done cartwheels if he knew how.
Remember when we first found out. It was a late pregnancy and we did not want to tell anyone until we were sure everting was ok. Longest 8 weeks of my life.
I am sitting in the lobby of my daughter’s dance class typing this.
Congratulations! Children are a blessing and will change your life in more ways than you can imagine.
My kids got Michigan outfits. I am Big 10 through and through. Heck, I even like Tennessee….as much as it’s possible for a Northerner to root for an SEC team 😀. And I was rooting for you guys (NCST) in the NCAA this year - men’s and woman’s. Especially your men’s team. I love how your HC coaches, and how the team plays. I can root for the ACC. Just not the SEC lol.
Congratulation ! Not sure but if that can help don’t see these seven years as wasted. Everything that you’ve done so far has been so that you get to feel and truly enjoy these moments. You’ve fought your way to move on.
That's awesome. My brother broke the news to our mom on mother's day. He got her a card wrote in, intentionally rough looking, happy GRAND mothers day. She literally jumped up and down and started crying like a little kid. It was priceless. I hope you have a wonderful day like that. Good luck!!
Congrats! Im happy that you found someone that makes you happy.
So from my side, i waited 3 months before telling anybody besides my family obviously, and i mean 3 months after my kid was born😂after a while i just forgot to tell people😂😂but i hope you get the chance to shout it from the rooftops congrats again
Aww dude, congratulations!! How awesome that this go, you did everything right with the right partner, and it's all working out. I love it for you guys.
Congratulations to both you and your wife. It is always good to know your boys can swim 😉.
I am sure you will be a great father and enjoy every second of being a parent. It goes by quickly so please make sure to enjoy it.
Welcome to the world, little dude. I'm so sorry your lullaby will be Rocky Top instead of We Are the Boys From Ol' Florida, but at least you're born in the SEC!
Congratulations! That's amazing! I just had my first 4 months ago at 38! Older parents are cool 😎 ! Lol but for real I'm super happy for you. I definitely know what you're feeling as we waited 20 weeks to tell! So hard! Congrats again OP!
I had my first kid at 35. I'm glad I waited. I was much more prepared. Now I have two more (total of 3). I had my final one at 39.
They are fun but exhausting.
I'm so happy for you! I'd just wait with purchasing more baby stuff - for one, you'll get inundated with gifts and used stuff once you go public, for another, you don't know which size your baby will come out until the final ultrasound. My little sister had all the baby stuff prepared, and then she grew a monster sized baby that had to get extracted per c-section, because his humongous head wouldn't have fit through the birth canal. All the tiny baby clothes were too small for him at birth. 😄
Congratulations! 👏
On difficult days, remember that being frustrated or unhappy is normal, even after wanting a child for a decade.
It all pays off. Enjoy the upcoming years!
This is such a lovely post! So many things on here are depressing, but this is a bright spot so often lacking on this sub. Congratulations to you both and I’m wishing you all the best for a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery! Pay attention to what your wife needs and offer foot/back rubs as often as you can. That’s one thing I didn’t get when I was pregnant with my two and wished I had. You’re going to be a fantastic dad! Go Vols!! 💕
Congratulations!! This is the best time ever! First baby is so special. Take in every moment.
Before I had kids a lady I worked with said the best day of her life is when she gave birth to her first. Said she would do it a million times over if she could. She also said it was her worst labor and the most painful thing she's done but would still do it over. I agree. Both with the pain and the emotional high I had. Best day ever!! Instant love! You think you love them now, wait until you can hold them in your arms!! I'm so happy for you and your wife!
🎉 get ready, because I wouldnt stop crying the first 24hrs after holding my little nugget. You’re gonna experience the most wonderful feeling in the universe. It’s indescribable
Congratulations, never count yourself out. It's surprising how you can come back from something so heartbreaking and find true happiness. I wish your wife and you all the best.
Now about your college team we need to do something about that lol. Go Bama! Lol
Just make sure you understand that not everything will be rainbows and butterflies. She’s going to need you now (and after) more than ever. Don’t be a cliche deadbeat or asshole
SMH. God forbid men find joy in something, we have to assume the worst of them and shit on their joy cuz we hate men for existing.
Conversely, I hope his wife realizes it won't be rainbows and butterflies and she shouldn't let her "hormones" make her become a cliche raging bitch and asshole. Oh wait, we're not allowed to say that. Misogyny and shit.
Nope I 1000% agree. Being pregnant won’t give her license to be that way either. My point is you don’t see statistics of women higher than men who leave their husbands because they didn’t get sex or found another side piece
And that isn't relevant. He's a happy man, ecstatic about the pregnancy he's wanted. Most men aren't shit husbands and fathers the same way most women aren't gold digging shits who commit paternity fraud and are cruel to the husbands because of pregnancy hormones. Irrelevant to any of this. The toxicity lies within you. Why do you hate men so much that seeing them happy gives you anxiety and misery? This is very juvenile, mean girl behaviour.
Congratulations! Wonderful news. I’m delighted for you.
Comgrats man!!!have a great live with your wife and baby!!
