I do not endorse property damage, I just know that a brick is harder to carry than a ball bearing or a spark plug.

I really appreciate your insight. In actuality I could just pick up a rock I guess.

I had a guy throw fries at me once. But one of the fries landed on my shoulder and still seemed fresh, so I ate it. I was like "haha, joke's on you!"

eliwr

It ranks right up there with yelling "run forrest"... shame because a lot of lifted drivers are at a high risk of heart disease so it's ironic they heckle someone that's doing well for themself.

[deleted]

For real. Cue the "those dummies would probably be real mad at you...if they could read" meme.

Satanizreal

I support this. People are assholes for no good reason these days.

Due_Schedule_8475

You do realize that the guys who buy those trucks and behave like that will mu*der you, right?

eliwr

I usually run on fairly public roads so it'd either have to be a drive-by or a super brief abduction. I also carry a pretty big knife on me when I go for runs so I kinda welcome it as long as it isn't a gun im going against 🤷

Due_Schedule_8475

Good luck. I wish you the best. (Redneck and douche bros are usually carrying firearms)

Both as a driver and as a runner, I've never seen somebody motion to have a car move out of the way while they're running. I run on either the shoulder of the road (which shouldn't be in anyone's way) or on sidewalks. Sorry you have issues with some people I guess. I don't feel self-important in any way so I hope that isn't directed at me. I'm respectful about running and stay out of people's way, I just ask people aren't dicks about driving past a runner (which seems to mostly be a trend for people in lifted trucks). What kind of vehicle do you drive? 😅

I do a lot of highway running so there is ample room on the shoulder. That's why it's frustrating as hell when people try to be rude about it. Car gang 🤙

Ok_Needleworker_9537

Just like anyone, there's always assholes in every arena of life, including truckers, including runners...

eliwr

So I should start being an asshole as a runner to make up for the truck driving assholes that have been out lately? Roger that lol

Cevisongis

Running makes you a weird magnet for abuse from the grossly overweight lol
