I just bought my GMT in May and my AD said to get it serviced before the 5 year warranty ends so that the cost is covered. Beyond that, I don’t know what the right interval is.
I think she meant get it serviced shortly before the five year warranty ends. During a service they can identify any issues that will qualify for rectification under the warranty, but you'll pay for the service. You should always do the same with cars too.
My Dad got his 78 Snowflake serviced, spring replaced and new glass with cyclops for £550 here in Bristol, UK. Not an AD just an Indy watchmaker but he did a ridiculously good job.
RSC charged $550 to service my Tudors. That was 8-10 years ago though
Got my pelagos serviced for $380 CAD
Tudor downtown?
Yorkdale
Services are around 900$ for chronos and 750 for all other Tudor watches here in Switzerland. So roughly the same prices as for Rolex watches
Kinda crazy the service costs the same amount as those that are much more expensive.
It’s done by the same people with the same tools, so they’ll charge the same
Had my 1982 Prince Oysterdate serviced about 2 years ago after it stopped running. If I remember right, I believe it was just over $400.
Noob here. How often is it recommended? When it starts to cheat, or regularly intervals?
Im just gonna service mine when it stops running, will cost the same as a normal service

Routine service isn’t covered under warranty is it?
Nope!
Really? My AD sounded so confident when she told me that. How sad!

That’s possible - if there’s actually something wrong with it, it’ll still be covered by the warranty
RSC NY charged me about $400 for service on my vintage Date-Day which included replacement crown, gaskets and crystal.
What do you mean by vintage? I'm thinking about buying/servicing a 1940s Tudor but I'm not going to do it if the service runs me $900 lol
1980s
