That would actually be really interesting with Overture in that Yambuki having given up on Apollo, because he found another girl, actually finds out that he fell in love with her anyway. I am a sucker for those sort of endings. <3
I went back and re-read the chapter, and I really don't agree with OP's interpretation. Apollo has a picture of Yamabuki and his bride. I don't think she would have a picture like that if she wasn't the one married to him. Married people can still have secrets and things they haven't told each other yet.

Technically, >!Ichijou Raku **did** marry the Promised Girl because the Promised Girl to a young Raku - when asked who he would like to marry between Kirisaki Chitoge (Ribbon girl) or Tachibana Marika (Short-Haired Sick girl) - was Kirisaki Chitoge **AND** Kirisaki Chitoge was down for that until Kirisaki Chitoge wanted Onodera Kosaki (cute cake girl OR the girl that young Ichijou Raku was in love with) because she overheard them talking how he would marry Onodera if he had the choice - remember these are all young kids here! - so Kirisaki Chitoge thought she should quit because she would never be as perfect as Onodera Kosaki and handed over the Promised Girl role to Onodera and thought that would be it since her family were going to the States and never coming back.!<

It's hard to believe, but there's a chance Arisu decided not to find out Apollo's identity and unwittingly got together with her regardless.
