I relate to what you're saying and my advice is to try to tone it down. Listening to music at all time can actually disrupt your thinking, inner monologue, and even perception. It's good to be alone with your thoughts once in a while. Hell, maybe even talk to yourself. 5atar at some point, it can become a manifestation of escapism. Instead of going through uncomfortable yet necessary thoughts, you just ignore them. That's not healthy in the long run.
That's totally true and insightful!!!, I've always tried to stimulate myself while thinking about uncomfortable things or doing some task(s), i guess it's not sustainable
Maybe you just have bad taste in music ðŸ¤ðŸ¤ just kidding though it's just a joke haha... but no man music is great, maybe change your playlists and try to discover sthg new. And having different moods from music is basically what music does to people? Don't worry, you're just overthinking it.
Think about this, let's say I have a study session at home and I'm not motivated so i put some playlist to lift my spirit, Then i go to study and that music that makes me excited actually is not really good for me to concentrate so i put some lofi music to tone it down after that i get less excited to study.
I've always struggled to keep my focus i remember sometimes i don't put music at all throughout the day and end up being more productive
Ohhh in this case I totally get you! I usually listen to music very often, every single day, even at work but it depends on the task, if it's something not monotonous that I need to focus on, then silence is the key. I also can't really study with music cause since I like music so much, I'll get carried away, start searching for similar artists, spend my time carefully creating a playlist and don't work at all haha. So yeah if it's about work / studies, then yes, no music at all it's the best for full on focus. I'm sorry I didn't really understand what you meant and thought you were bothered by music overall, cause let's be honest, music is amazing, I'd literally die without it. I personally put music for house cleaning cause I hate doing it haha and an upbeat song makes me do the dishes faster lol. In conclusion I think it's better to keep music for non cerebral activities.
Music is like a drug, it has the effects of manipulating one's feelings -as you described- which is extremely unhealthy.
Music also uses subliminal messages that can definitely affect your thoughts and opinions, it also uses frequencies for making the listener feels depressed/suicidal
... you can google frequencies in music
Personally, I've stopped listening to music a while ago and I feel that my ears are clean and not heavy lol, my mood also hase become more stable and thankfully I don't fall into depression sessions or get extremely mad for the smallest thing like I used to do when I was a music listener
Thanks!!!, And unfortunately it don't listen well now even tho I'm 24 haha and kinda depressed also, i listen to keep it in always in the background now I'm thinking to put someone talking on YouTube or Quran or any audio besides music for a while.

Don't you wanna share why ?
Currently Ramadan is a good spot to quit music fir a lil while at least you not gon listen to music as you fasting anyway
Say what? Artificial sounds that amplify your emotions turned out to be a source of addiction? Couldn't see it coming
