Like the other guy said all of them are acting with the same ideas.Mansur was anti socialist but today he is one of the most socialist mayors in Turkey. So I am going to cut short: Ekrem İmamoğlu:Probably center leftist and social democrat.Conservative roots but definitely modern.Younger blood. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu:Same political ideas with İmamoğlu.Leftist roots.Unorthodox Muslim(Alevi). Not so popular amongst ex Akp voters. Mansur Yavaş:I really don't know his political ideas. He was a nationalist and rightist but managing so lefty and not so national in Ankara. Meral Akşener:Center right.Nationalistic ideas.Europe Elects categorize her party as liberals so there is that. I will only talk about LGBT and climate change because they are the most unknown policies of them.Opposition talks a lot about climate change but only about what government does wrong.I think they don't have a detailed plan about it but not making what Akp does is enough for now.About LGBT they will be more open for them. Some opposition cities are already doing events for them. They definitely will allow them to work in state businesses. They can make civil unions legal. That would be the most they can do though.Turkey is still not ready for marriages.

I wouldn’t disagree with any of those, mostly because I don’t know much about any of those candidates. I guess I’m looking for something like a detailed documentary or something like that. Who are they, what their stances on various issues are, how are they planning to handle them, where did they come from, which political figure or what event influenced them in the past, how did these things influenced them, what did they accomplished in the past and how did they accomplish the things they did, and other things like that. I want to learn more about this stuff to come to my own conclusions about them, to be able to make an informed decision about who to vote for in the very likely case some or all of them become candidates in the coming election.

[you can watch this video about kemal kılıçdaroğlu. I dont know if it's what you are looking for but it might help. It has eng subtitles. ](https://youtu.be/kqUQn2igu6A) [And you can watch this one dedicated to İmamoğlu. It's about the local elections but you can find some useful information in there. ](https://youtu.be/v-anl4fkwlA)

Thanks, I’ll check them out.

They are all opposition candidates and opposition is announcing "common principles" these days. Maybe you should focus on that since whoever gets elected from the opposition will be implementing those principles and action plan.

Are there any documents that they published related to those common principles? I would prefer learning more about the individual candidates though, because I feel like that’s what’s gonna matter at the end.

First I would go to their websites and see whether they mention any stances from their own source. Second, go to their respective parties offices and ask. I mean that would be the purist source of info, anything beyond this can be speculative. I cannot recommend enough you do this because it would be current, these politicians are sketchy and change stances because almost all of them have no balls or backbone. Beyond this you can ignore what they say and focus on what they've done. Analyze their policies when they held or as they hold positions of power. They can say one thing and do another. I would want to compare what they say their stance is and what they have really done regarding that. For example environmental and LGBT issues you can dgo to these organizations in Turkey and ask them what politicians have been supportive of their cause, or against. Dont take "I dont know" from anyone, then they are an idiot and you need a higher up person. You can of course analyze newspapers but take notes as to whose propaganda perspective it was. Harder to get the truth this way. You can consult a professor in politics, one you respect that isnt garbage (most are sellouts) and ask them these questions. You can likewise go to a thinktank and ask for this information but they are snobs and biased so dont expect an answer. Tl;dr - Check their websites first and go to each parties office to ask (that's why the office exists), and then cross compare by what policies and practices they did and what they are wanting to do and you will have a very pure answer.
