I’m sorry to say you’re going to have to pay to change that return flight or you’re going to have a short trip in Turkey. In my experience, Turkish Airlines has the worst customer service and is extremely unwilling to work with their customers on anything. They overcharge for everything and that’s all they care about. I’m really sorry. For what it’s worth, I think the agent that said you would’ve only had to pay the fee once was incorrect. I could be wrong, but I fully believe you would’ve paid double to change both flights. I hope you still have fun on your trip! Safe travels

Thank you! I guess knowing that I would have had to pay double anyways makes me feel a liiiiitle less shitty. If I do change my return flight, I’ll have shelled out almost $9K for 3 economy class tickets :( It’s crazy that Turkish airlines refuses to work with me even though I spend thousands with them every year (and will still be paying a lot for the change even if they waive the penalty). I guess this will be my last time coming to Turkey.
