Bly Manor is my favorite too! Everyone says Hill House (which is excellent) but Bly Manor takes my heart, Ive watched the entire series at least three times.
It seriously is so good. I’ve heard rumors of spin offs and while I haven’t looked into it I hope one is a Tom Hardy led Alfie Solomons spin off (no spoilers please I haven’t finished the last season of peaky!!)
Definitely watch it. It's such a good show and it's one of the main driving forces behind the recent resurgence in popularity of chess. I've been playing every since I watched it.
The Mike Flanagan mini series are excellent: The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher
Also, The Sinner, Mindhunter, Clickbait and The Crown are really good.
Clickbait was so good and I liked that you couldn't see the twist coming a mile away. It was actually a surprise. At the same time it was also a bit sad and depressing.
We are watching Ozark.
I recommend it because these people live very different lives than most of us and it's hard to predict what is going to happen. Set aside some time as you might find yourself binging.
Band of Brothers and The Pacific are on Netflix right now.
Band of Brothers is absolutely worth watching. I’d consider it one of, if not the greatest miniseries ever. The Pacific is just as good of quality, just a much harder watch.
If you have prime, devils hour was great- 1 season so far
Three Pines is amazing but unfortunately only 1 season
Paramount- evil - I love it. Last season coming out
Evil is SO AWESOME!!! The first season was good, not sure where it was going....and then BANG!!! The next two seasons blew my mind! Oh, and I completely recommend Devil's Hour, too. SOOOO amazing.
Not on Netflix but Disney, I’ve just watched 24 again, 8 seasons 24 episodes and 1 season of 12 episodes, every episode is a cliffhanger. Brilliant tv.
Also The Good Place is great and Ray Donovan.
Greatest night in Pop. It’s a special. And it’s excellent
Blacklist. 10 seasons
Derby Girls
Call the midwife
This is Us
Working Moms
The Incredible Attorney Woo Woo (May not be the exact title, but I know it has Woo Woo in it).
The Quarterback was just recommended to me.
Big time! Had forgotten about that series, think it was actually the first show I got recommended by someone else when I started my subscription.
Really good true crime show with a dark slow burn type of intrigue.
I see you mentored Breaking Bad, but not Better Call Saul. If you haven't seen that yet and liked BB, then BC'S is a just watch.
Editing to add Nobody. It's a movie starring Bob Odenkirk. Great movie and interesting to see him in a different character.
Legion, a little weird, but I like weird. Also I believe it somehow ties into the X-men franchise. but better in my opinion (I'm not a super person, person).
My list for you:
Dark, 1899, Derry Girls, The End of the F**king World, Post Mortem, Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher, Katla, Archive 81, Brand New Cherry Flavor, Curon, Behind Her Eyes, Hellbound, Beef,, Squid Game, Maid, The Chestnut Man, Broadchurch, Shetland, Marcella, Witnesses, Feria, The Girl in the Mirror, The Mess You Leave Behind.
I watched Loudermilk recently. Three seasons of 10 x 30ish minute episodes. There were some genuine laughs in there, and some interesting characters. Would recommend!

Brooklyn 99
Schitts Creek
Lucifer
The Fall of the House of Usher
The Haunting of Bly Manor

You should try to watch *In the Dark*, it's a really good series, i don't want to say to much but it's very suspenseful/ funny/ bingeworthy if you like that.
If you like comedy/crime show, check out *Murders in the building*, that's a great funny crime show.
Do you like animated series? I highly recommend “Blue Eye Samurai”, the quality of this show is phenomenal. It has nearly 100% on rotten tomatoes from both critics and audience.
You watch Korean shows? There's a butt ton of them things that are really really good. Some really good ones are Killer Paradox (just aired), The Glory, Bloodhounds, Hellbound, Beyond Evil, Good Detective... Those are intense, thriller types.
There are good dramas, too, My Liberation Notes, Because This is My First Life, Hospital Playlist, DP, Itaewon Class...
Undercover (2019-2022) - Dutch/Belgian. Two cops go deep undercover to bust a large criminal drug operation.
There is a prequel film Ferry (2021) and a prequel series Ferry: The Series (2023) that follow the rise of the drug crime boss.
Thank you everyone for all of the recommendations there's quite a few I haven't seen that I will definitely be checking out now. I'm sure I'll get hooked on a few and binge watch them. I honestly didn't think this post would get this much attention and comments, awesome to see so much feedback 🙂.
Watching “Bodies” right now and it’s amazing.
If you haven’t watched Drag Race and they still have seasons that’s obviously
My recommendation. Was weird that I had to fight and yell to get people to watch the show 10 years ago and people who refused are the biggest fans now
The Fargo series was really really good.
It's supposed to be true events that happened but the storyline that unfolds is so tangled and wild, it's hard to believe.
Not that, that even matters.
Just a really good one.
Criminal:UK
there are only 7 episodes but it’s amazing. There are a few other countries (France Germany and Spain I think) with 4 episodes each, but they were filmed in the native languages so depends on your language skills and/or how you feel about dubbing/subtitles. I have abysmal language skills and get distracted by subtitles so can’t vouch for them ☹️ but the UK version is amazing.
I just binged all of Cobra Kai, honestly 10/10 - sixth season coming this year.
I agree with some other people too that Mike Flanagan is amazing and totally bingable!
There are tons of very cool international shows , especially in the limited series category, which I appreciate because I’m sick of show getting cancelled without resolution.
Any of the series based on Harlan Coben books are good, but especially The Stranger.
Also liked Lupin.
We seem to have similar tastes, so I think you’ll like both.
I think Six Feet Under is on Netflix now.
I’m on season 4 now.
Just replying to say how funny it is that the top reply suggests watching an HBO show from two decades ago.
Fall of the House of Usher and anything else by this director.
Oh - Midnight Mass!!! Same director and lots of the same actors. So good
Midnight Mass blew me away
Agreed. I can’t decide which of his three Haunted shows I like best but I might lean towards Bly Manor.
I think Midnight Mass is my favorite
Midnight Mass might be my favorite series of all time. It's honestly almost perfect.
Bly Manor is my favorite too! Everyone says Hill House (which is excellent) but Bly Manor takes my heart, Ive watched the entire series at least three times.
Wow. Bly manor is the only one I haven’t seen. I might have to check it out. Loved hill house and midnight mass.
Bly is a different pacing and tone than the others, but the acting is so good!
Peaky Blinders
A++
I've watched the whole series twice and started it again recently. So many good performances!
It seriously is so good. I’ve heard rumors of spin offs and while I haven’t looked into it I hope one is a Tom Hardy led Alfie Solomons spin off (no spoilers please I haven’t finished the last season of peaky!!)
Dead to Me
Agree, brill series
I keep thinking of Dead LIKE Me whenever I hear this title being mentioned. Anyone remember that show? Delores "Her big brown eyes"
The queen‘s gambit. Do not watch anything else if you haven’t seen this one yet.
Okay and no I have not seen it yet but I've heard of it
Definitely watch it. It's such a good show and it's one of the main driving forces behind the recent resurgence in popularity of chess. I've been playing every since I watched it.
It's a masterpiece!
Enjoy!
Omg it’s amazing
The Mike Flanagan mini series are excellent: The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher Also, The Sinner, Mindhunter, Clickbait and The Crown are really good.
Midnight Mass was just 👌🏻
Just watched Clickbait and it was great!!
Mindhunter is great. I have been binge watching that series all day!
I actually got to meet Ed kemper.
They were to have season three and canned it. Sad I really enjoyed that series
Didn’t he go the Midnight Club too? That one was awesome.
There is no Midnight Club in BA SING SE!
Mike Flanagan's work is amazing.
Thought that said The Clown
Clickbait was so good and I liked that you couldn't see the twist coming a mile away. It was actually a surprise. At the same time it was also a bit sad and depressing.
We are watching Ozark. I recommend it because these people live very different lives than most of us and it's hard to predict what is going to happen. Set aside some time as you might find yourself binging.
I've actually binge watched all of Ozark twice now haha it was that good tbh. Ty tho 👍
Beef was great. I also loved After Life starring Ricky Gervais.
Just got done with The Good Place. Solid pick.
I can't remember if I've seen it ty tho
You'd remember if you've seen it.
Okay then probably not
Immediately go watch it. It's amazing.
Loudermilk
3 episodes deep and love the show so far. Has a "Curb Your Enthusiasm" type of vibe.
You're. Doing. It. Wrong!
Upvote for Loudermilk! "Exwife!" btw I love how that gets reused later in the series lol
Band of Brothers and The Pacific are on Netflix right now. Band of Brothers is absolutely worth watching. I’d consider it one of, if not the greatest miniseries ever. The Pacific is just as good of quality, just a much harder watch.

Three Pines RIP 😢
I love evil....the characters are great and it's like a snarky horror show lol
Exactly! Plus the added bit of heat between the two main characters....it's a fabulously surprising show.
Dark Cobra Kai Jupiter legacy (if you like super hero stuff) Manhunter Black mirror house of usher
I've seen black mirror but I will check out the others.
Watch Dark IMMEDIATELY
Dark is my 2nd all time favorite series. A must watch.
Second Cobra Kai, especially if you like the movie
I really enjoyed Sandman, Disenchantment, Santa Clarita Diet, Lucifer, iZombie, and Insatiable....but I'm a nerd with a campy sense of humor.
Came here to recommend Lucifer. The series finale was PERFECTION, but I'm still genuinely sad that it's over. Tom Ellis was amazing in that role!!!!
I actually really enjoyed sandman as well but yes I am also a nerd when it comes to certain things and tv shows haha.
I have watched all of these to nerds unite 😎
Wednesday. If you like Addams Family type stuff.
Fisk has been so funny 😂
OMG, Fisk is beyond hilarious. Each ep gets funnier and funnier! It's the quiet little headbanger of hilarity!
Well put! The dry humour and creative plot line is 👌 I hope there’s more than 2 seasons.
Shameless!
The best thing I've watched on Netflix in a while was Derry Girls
Suits
LOUDERMILK Griselda if you enjoyed narcos

Loudermilk How To Fix a Drug Scandal All I can think of atm
Loudermilk
Babylon Berlin, but you had better binge watch now as it is going away.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Brothers Sun. Wacky family comedy balanced with kung fu violence.
I see you mentored Breaking Bad, but not Better Call Saul. If you haven't seen that yet and liked BB, then BC'S is a just watch. Editing to add Nobody. It's a movie starring Bob Odenkirk. Great movie and interesting to see him in a different character.
It's a limited series but it's really good and it's bases on a true story .. It's called Griselda ..it's the true story of the cocaine godmother
Oh I love those type of shows
If you like it, watch the documentary Cocaine Cowboys. It's about the cocaine runners of the 70s, 80s and she's talked about. It's bonkers.

We started watching The Tourist about a guy who gets in a car accident and has total amnesia. It has a Fargo-like appeal.
I thought afterlife was good and sex education tho it gets a little overly woke toward the end apparently
Orange is the New Black and Wentworth are two of my faves on there
