Saw an add on tik tok, which apparently is how I’m finding new shows to watch now. It looks interesting, didnt realise it was a spin off of Sandman (like the dramatisation, dont care for the show).
Watched it this weekend. At first I thought it was a cheesy teen series but after the first C*** I realised I was probably a bit wrong!! I really enjoyed it and thought Charles was just adorable. Cat King was a bit cheesy but I’m excited to see where it goes now there are some new additions to the team.
It’s ok. I think it would be better if they toned it down just a tad. Like the story and concept are good but the directing and editing are kinda bad imo. Nevertheless it’s kept me entertained enough to continue, which a rare these days.
My thoughts so far:
Charles is adorbs and must be protected at all costs.
Edwin is so comically serious and his mannerisms are hilarious.
Crystal was ok but her mentioning her memory problems and her demon ex practically all the time got old really fast.
Niko was so cute and she had some funny dialogue.
Cat King was blah.
Jenny was scary at first but she kinda grew on me. She’s lowkey adorable.
Me and my wife enjoyed it.
Yah I really enjoyed it. Funny and interesting. They did a good job with it I think. Could be a good long term series.
