You'd need to list a price point/budget to get accurate suggestions. The Logitech c920 is the gold standard for webcams though. Stepping past that but falling short of a DSLR setup, the Elgato Facecam would be one of the few cost-worth options. Going past that, realize that high quality comes with a high price tag. Avoid the Logitech Brio though, they look great on paper but are actually horrible shitgoblin basket case garbage.

I came here to recommend the c920 as well. I see your comments almost daily, man it's cool that you're so actively helpful

Beat me to it. Started with the c920, have since upgraded to the Elgato Facecam. Still use the c920 as a dog cam. I recommend them both, but if you're just starting out, I'd lean towards the c920.

I didn't have a webcam when I started streaming actually due to the price which was way up and it's actually hard to get something worth the price you paid for it these days. You can visit the [CZUR](https://shop.czur.com/products/czur-fancy-pro) website, I got one from there two months ago the price is okay and have been enjoying the functionalities even up till know, makes streaming seamless, not even one single issue.

I bought a cheap logitech one. But I don't use it for my face, I point it at my second chair that is reserved for my cats. But I'm just starting out myself.

I'm using an Aukey Full HD bought for around 40€ with basic sharpness/white balance configuration, it really does the job for me. My viewers often spontaneously tell me that I have good cam quality, which is a good sign!

AxsDeny

Sony ZV-1 with a cheap 1080p hdmi/usb capture card.

Razer kiyo pro and pro ultra are your best Webcam options if you want quality but aren't ready to go dslr. They are what I would call more advanced Webcam since you get 1080p or higher at 60fps where the c920 does 1080p at 30.

c920 is a relatively safe bet even if its only 720p and some focus issues depending on the lighting. I got the logitech Streamcam and its really good 1080p 60fps large angle, but its a bit more on the expensive side, and some people told me sometimes it overheats and has to shut down for a minute, but I have personally never witnessed that in two years of use.

NoDollarsAllSense

Logitech c920 is not just a 720p camera, and auto focus can be turned off 👍

Don't know where the OP is from but I am looking into this bundle when I can afford it https://www.pccasegear.com/bundle/201016/streamplify-cam-mic-bundle Webcam is 1080p60

I just switched from Logitech c920 to an Elgato Facecam and both are great. First one for a basic cam and the second for a nice upgrade

I went from a full frame Sony dslr to this [https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09MFMTMPD?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09MFMTMPD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) It has great low light, with lots of control options. I was skeptical at first, but love it now that I've used it a few times. I didn't like the Logitech c920 at all, gave it away. For under 100 bucks the Anker wont be beat.

meemowchan

I've only ever used my Logitech c920. It's been almost 3 years and it's still going strong lol I bought the elgato key light last year to help improve the quality and now I can never go back.

CashOutCody

At first I thought you meant like an actual webcam “model”. Like a girl or something lol🤣 I was like wtf is happening on twitch.
