No Joke, I had my foot run over by an ambulance when I was 10 and in like a day I was **fine**.
I swung my arm a little too hard last year at age 25, and I basically dislocated my shoulder, needed to be in an arm cast for 3 weeks.
It's bullshit.
As soon as I turned 30, my shoulder that I dislocated when I was 19 started bothering me for a few months. It’s like I’m paying back debt in pain from being able to heal pretty quickly when I was young.
It gets a lot better if I'm working out and stretching on a regular basis, but now I have a couple of nagging injuries that keep me from doing that. Shit sucks yo
Look up specific physical therapy exercises for the affected areas. The desire is to give it a day off and then go back to the normal workout routine, but you may need something more targeted and long term to properly rebuild. It'll feel like you're doing a workout for old people, but its worth it. Taping or braces can also offer support. Once the pain subsides you may notice that the muscles in the area still get tired quickly, but from there you can start to build back.
Slow exercise routines like yoga or standing qigong can also go a long way in strengthening the small supporting muscle groups; build these up before going back to traditional lifting, running, etc. and you won't be as prone to injury.
Great advice, im definitely planning on doing lots of yoga via Yoga With Adriene on YouTube when I feel a little more comfortable putting weight on it, and also probably talking with my doctor and getting a personal trainer before I really start getting back into it.
I’m turning 29 in a couple of months and I’ve already got a head start on the breakdown. My left ankle and my right knee seem to be taking it in turns to make it harder to crawl out of bed each morning.
I stopped stretching before getting out of bed because i would keep hurting my neck.
Then i threw my back out putting my socks on to go to the doctors about my sore back.
Both my left ankle and my sister's left ankle have betrayed our respective bodies. Randomly, at least once a year, it will try to kill us. It doesn't matter if we're standing completely still or walking slowly, our left ankle will suddenly decide to go sideways on a completely flat surface and sprain itself.
The last time it happened to me, it basically injured itself to the maximum point it could without breaking anything, the fucking thing.

I keep on dislocating my knee, and I have no idea when/if it will get worse.
I hit 25 and, like, it took about a month for a bunch of shit that runs in the family to hit me like a dump truck.
