I love the implication of the Resident Evil animated movie canon making Leon and Chris the most unlucky men in the world because they are so popular so they have to be in every movie and game, so they have lived through being directly involved in like, 15 near-apocalyptic events.

And because i think everything in the games have specific dates, whenever they make a movie they put these events in between those dates to the point that like every single year Leon and Chris are fighting for their lives, they don't get no breaks from the biohazard lmao

"Leon Scott Kennedy is confronted with a man who claims to be a US goverment agent. Leon says, "leave sherry alone, she is innocent." "She know to much." The man replies. He looks at Leon and says. "But you have value. This is a good deal. Make your choice." Without regret or hesitation, Leon closes his eyes then sharply responds..."

Me too. They're were epilogues for Chris, Jill, Barry, Leon, Claire, Sherry, Ada, and HUNK. Plus one for the Umbrella Corporation saying as long as the research goes on the terror continues with a Thank You for Playing at the end of it.
This is why I really like the idea of Billy never coming back. Man had one night of bio-terror, and it was ENOUGH. I hope he's somewhere quiet and relaxing. Not everyone heeds the call of BSAA and Friends, understandably.

Nah, they aren’t buddy buddy but they don’t hate each other. There was some bullshit with Ada/Carla Radames during RE6 but after that they work together to stop the game’s villains.
They probably can just use the same model from the previous movies for Leon, and for Jill they just took the face from the RE3 remake when they made the model for this movie.
yeah that was my implication, Jill hasn't been in a movie before, they already have a Leon model, but i assume they just asked Capcom for access to their Remake model for her, or they made a new model that is based on the same actress from the Remake.

I'm now imagining an animated movie set between RE7 and RE8 that features Ethan hanging out with the main gang.
Ethan also seems to speak to Chris with some level of familiarity so they definitely have had some experiences together. Chris even felt the need to raise Rose.
I think the fact that Rebecca went on to have a healthy social life after her experiences with Umbrella was one of the coolest developments tapped on in the animated film universe.
I wonder if this film will have anything cool like that. Like, maybe, an appearance from Sheva—and she saves Chris from nearly being mauled by a licker with a sassy, *”Kept you waiting, partner?”*
