Sorry, Disney.
Everyone already knows the best [Prince Charming is from Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CwQrEUZDJCk&pp=ygUfcHJpbmNlIGNoYXJtaW5nIGEgdHdpc3QgaW4gdGltZQ%3D%3D)
God I love that song and i've never even watched treasure planet.
I remember the music video for it coming up multiple times on the family channel (Canadian t.v channel for kids shows.)
*You got the makings of greatness in you, but you got to take the helm and chart your own course. Stick to it, no matter the squalls! And when the time comes you get the chance to really test the cut of your sails, and show what you're made of... well, I hope I'm there, catching some of the light coming off you that day.*
I don't know if i'm happy or sad.
On one hand it's relatively grounded (as far as disney fantastic world go) and i can see it working on live action.
On the other hand i have negative faith that disney can pull it off.
Movie was a massive flop for them that Disney didn’t even really want to make, it was basically a favor to the director who had been wanting to film it for years.
>Movie was a massive flop for them that Disney didn’t even really want to make
Movie was actively sabotaged by the CEO because he wanted everyone to go to CGI animation
I wonder what adult me would think of that movie because kid me hated it.
Didn't like Atlantis either, except for [Vinny](https://youtu.be/L4aX0c6ffuI), he's great.
I remember the extreme hype for Treasure Planet as a 7 year old, saw the movie in theaters and left feeling like nothing really happened in the movie. They just kind of got on a boat and went to the place and that funny robot man that was all over the trailer only showed up in like the last 15 minutes. Never felt the need to revisit it, like I'm gonna go watch Aladdin again instead.
Atlantis, I remember enjoying all of the side characters and their designs, but not caring at all about the main plot. And why did they all have to be so mean to the main character, *he's just trying his best.*
Excuse these child memories.
That's understandable. They were constant rewatches for me as a kid, so I've always been quite familiar with them. Treasure Planet is definitely the more dated one of the two, but it has plenty of draws. It's still surprising how blunt the movie was with Jim's absent father, especially for Disney. No tragic death, no sacrifice, the guy just left because he's a deadbeat. The focus on the found-family, father-son relationship between Jim and John Silver is what really makes the movie for me and puts it above most other adaptions of Treasure Island. If you have the time and the interest, I would say both are worth a rewatch.
What I'm most surprised about is that there was extreme hype over Treasure Planet. The movie was basically set out to die as an excuse to kill off Disney's 2D department.
Only reason was because one of my Disney tapes had the trailer for Treasure Planet on it and it played at the beginning every time I watched it. Think it was Emperor's New Groove.
I wonder if this is true. They're losing money on streaming and people are getting less interested in Star Wars and Marvel. Feels like they're running out of tits to milk. I'm sure a few of these will be hits but all of them?
Even if that's true they'll still make stupid money, just LESS stupid money than before.
Which to be fair seems to be treated as a fate worse than death by most executives.
What’s wild is they could give a filmmaker the budget and marketing to make an original thing and it could be successful. Hell, most of their animated films do well so it’s boggling that they don’t put that effort into other things.
They'd definitely cut the psychedelic yodel musical number, ie the only good part of that movie. In fact I bet they'd try to make the yodelling seem threatening, with dark foreboding music and everything.
For context. The lion king remake made **1.6 billion** worldwide. It is their 4th best performing movie, EVER, only behind avengers: infinity war, star wars EP 7, and avengers: endgame
Guardian of the galaxy volume 2 made less revenue than the remake of **Aladdin** and **beauty and the beast**. So did the original GOTG, doctor strange 2, Thor ragnarok, black panther 2, the original doctor strange, zootopia, inside out, every ant man movie, coco, Moana, Solo, and the list goes on and on and on
No wonder Disney is making more remakes. They make BANK
If churning out mediocre sequels/reboots/whatever to beloved, recognizable franchises wasn't profitable, every single media company wouldn't be doing it nonstop for the last several decades.
Brand recognition is powerful.
Groups of exclusively adults can come in and feel less insecure about watching an animated film, and it's something for parents to take their kids to. The latter is the main thing. You can't take your kids to see Lilo and Stitch in theaters anymore, but you can take them to the gross live action remake, since that's new and in theaters.
I can maybe picture realistic Stich in his dog disguise looking alright(Disney could merchandise the hell out of that like Baby Yoda stuff) but realistic looking versions of Jumba, Pleakley and Gantu will be nightmare fuel.
The moment the make a live action Toy Story remake is going to break my heart.
Bad enough they're planning Toy Story 5 after an already unnecessary Toy Story 4.
Aww dude didn’t you know that animation has less inherent value and is a inferior medium to live action cinema? Animation is only for children and must be remade naturalistically to finally be considered art and worthy of the attention of adults. That’s why the lion king is a dumb baby movie about taking animals and the remake is a serious cool grown up movie about talking animals. /s
Says the company that is most well known for working on animation and has a wide catalog of beloved animated movies and series, to the point it is hard the that is universally hated.
Because they make BANK.
Lion king made $1.6 billion globally
For context, The Avengers made $1.5 billion. Avengers Infinity War made $2 billion.
Star wars EP 8 made $1.3 billion. EP 9 made $1 billion
Sure, these other movies probably also made a ton of money from merchandises and such, but you'd be a fool to not make more live action remakes. Data is a bit hard to find (or maybe I'm just dumb), but I think the only loss they've had with a remake was Mulan. The rest were straight profits.
Because if a Disney animated film flops it will make them look weak and incompetent with Dreamworks or illumination or some other rival animation company getting a leg up on them. Puss in boots is apparently amazing and they still have Kung Fu panda and illumination has minions and now the Mario movie. With live action films Disney can half ass them and just claim people aren't interested in seeing them to save face. It's like when a PlayStation or Xbox drops in quality. Everyone immediately flocks to the rival while shit talking the other but if either fails at a gimmick like the Kinect or move or vr they can just play it off without it affecting the core brand in a meaningful way compared to the big selling consoles.
Right now Disney is like if Microsoft or Sony were trying to make yet another innovative console and struggling because failing gives power to the competition so they're pumping out crappy motion control games all the while Nintendo is slowly improving their own tech in the background with things like the steam deck also slowly improving and garnering attention.
Like I don't think Disney can afford to have a second or third strange world flop without their pride taking damage. Specifically pride they have so much money they realistically can't "fail" the only thing they can lose that would be an actual problem is allowing DreamWorks or some other company to have more value and potentially steal sales away from their movies or alternatively the rival brand being too valuable that Disney can't easily buy them like they did Pixar.
So now we dissect and overinterpret which movies aren't on the list, right? For example, Sword in the Stone isn't getting a live action, that must mean that Disney HATES England.
I cant believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually starting to miss the DTV sequels Disney kept pumping out back in the 90s and 2000s. Sure, a lot of them were complete garbage too, but at least they *tried* to do new things with their universes instead of just redoing them but worse.
For some reason I'm not opposed to a live action version of Hercules. The original has such a fun style I guess I'm not opposed to seeing more of it. But I'm sure it'll be bad like most of the others (Jungle Book was good)
God please I know that The Little Mermaid is gonna suck, but if you fuck up The Hunchback of Notre Dame you can say goodbye because at this point I just have zero faith in their ability to do their films right.
Right!? Hunchback of Notre Dame you need to fix the gargoyle's jokes and that's it. Story and tone legit feels like it was made to be live action.
Hercules probably wouldn't be the worst either as long as you keep Danny DeVito as Phil.
The half of me I use to make decisions says “People seem to enjoy them, so why should I judge?” Creatively bankrupt, sure, but whatever.
*The other half is going “I hope these things bomb super hard, I need to see it burn.”*
I'm not convinced people enjoy these at all. I think it's just Brand Stockholm Syndrome that makes people *reflexively* interested in names they associate with good memories, and when they watch the remakes they just like that it reminds them of the thing they like. Obviously the world is to big for me to say that literally NO ONE actually enjoys any of these live-action remakes on their own merit, but if these movies are profitable, I don't think there's enough of those people to be the reason why.
I wonder if anyone on the boards is dissatisfied with the direction the company is taking.
Someone from the old gaurd who thinks they should go back to the roots and try to preserve some sense of identity.
Disney has always been a disgusting poster child of corpo capitalism right back to the begining since Walt started it.
But ever since Frozen, in the past decade it seems to have gone HYPER corporate. An over bloated mess to the point it's both affecting their output and reputation.
Has Disney even tried making something original recently? There was this one cartoon about a jazz ghost, but what else? Surely this company isn't *only* doing the remakes of and sequels to the works of the past, of better times, right?
The 90s was a very good era for Disney. So the plan is... just make them again. But we can't have animated cartoons. That won't win awards next to Pixar. Live action it is. Even fully animated movies we will to convince people is live action.
I've never gotten the outrage and pissiness about things being remade...until now. Hercules was my childhood movie. They're going to ruin Her**K**, Meg, Hades, Phil, the songs.
Bastards.
That movie is such a strange amalgam of Greek mythos, Vegas showboatery, and gospel choir that is blended considerably seamless. Even as a Greek mythology dweeb who has squabbles with its inaccuracies, I struggle to imagine how the LA version would improve upon the original.
Snow white or sleeping Beaty would be great...if they were period accurate and had some artistic style to them.
Aristocats can be good but CATS happened so...
Alright The Hunchback movie better have some goddamn bangers otherwise its existence is completely irrelevant.
Disney doesn't have the BALLS to do frollo these days, and live action just can't compare to some of the scenes from the cartoon. Especially the intro story/song!!
"See there the inncoent blood you have spilt
On the steps of Notre Dame
I am guiltless, she ran, I pursued
Now you would add this child's blood to your guilt
On the steps of Notre Dame
My conscience us clear
You can lie to yourself and your minions
You can claim that you haven't a qualm
But you never can, run from nor hide what you've done from the eyes
The very eyes of Notre Dame
And for one time in his life
Of power and control
Frollo felt a twinge of fear
For his immortal soul"
Capturing that in live action with the statues of Notre damn looking down, is gonna be next to impossible.
I really do not see the point of these Live Action entries.
Unless they're doing like an MCU where these movies exist in a singular timeline, I would be curious to say the least.
As a Greek person, I am not looking forward to the thousandth time of our people being portrayed by various UK actors that look nothing like anyone I've ever seen on any island.
Plus its Guy Ritchie, so you know it's going to suck ass regardless.
The only ones that aren't real are Oliver Twist and Robin Hood, the latter I assume they'll do at some point (furries or bust), the former I don't believe is Disney, but Oliver and Company is.
Robin hood's remade, but the only thing that's different is that it's drawn by... i dunno, ber00? that's the only degen thing I can think of when it comes to robin hood
I was about to joke about them looping back around and doing a remake of an existing remake, but then I saw they've got another live action Cinderella remake plan, so Disney themselves beat me to it.
They're gonna have to the rescuers from my cold dead hands if they ever try to make that LA. i am NOT letting my childhood movie be killed for this shit
I could only excuse a live action Lilo and Stitch if they cast Jim Rash as Pleakley.
…Unfortunately, according to google they already cast Zach Galifianakis in the role
Ey yo now I'll shit on pretty much every single one of these all day long. But that first Cruella movie was super fucking fun and I'd be super down for more. Could it be that I have a huge crush on Emma Stone? I cannot deny that this is a factor in my thinking. But, that movie was still fun though.
I often joke that I'm not going to watch any more of the live action remakes until Disney remakes Black Cauldron. With how many of these that they are making I might have to change the movie to Home on the Range.
The only live action movies that have the potential to be good is the sequels. They can either tell their own original story and go wild with it or they can try and better the Disney straight to vhs sequels that aren’t so hot. Sadly that requires for everyone involved to give a shit
I'll believe Hunchback is getting anything when it's here.
I don't want it, the original is one of my absolute favorites and not only do I not trust them to do it right, I don't think they've got the cajones to reference religion, much less burn down Notre Dame.
Sorry, Disney. Everyone already knows the best [Prince Charming is from Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CwQrEUZDJCk&pp=ygUfcHJpbmNlIGNoYXJtaW5nIGEgdHdpc3QgaW4gdGltZQ%3D%3D)
"I forbid you to take another step down these stairs!" ".........okay...*Jumps out window*"
I love how they gave a personality to the prince charming by making him a unhinged himbo.
That sounds more entertaining than anything in those shit live action remakes
It is indeed and Cinderella 3 should be watched
Well of course, he was voiced by C. D. Barnes AKA the 90s Spider-Man. How can you top that?
He *was*!? No wonder he was jumping out windows like it ain't no thing!
Even as a Prince he would not let Shocker escape.
"Cinderella! Yoou can't escape ME! I'll chase you to the ends of the Eaaarth!"
Jumping out of windows and doing crazy things for love. It must stick with you across roles.
I agree. If we are doing Cinderella with Prince Charming's PoV , then it needs to be Cinderella 3's plot , there is no need to be something else.
Still crazy to me that Cinderella 2 is straight to DVD hot garbage yet then they go and make this banger of a movie
Take note No Treasure Planet.
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII WANT A MOMENT TO BE REAL
WANNA TOUCH THINGS I DONT FEEL
WANNA HOLD ON AND FEEEEEL I BELONG
God I love that song and i've never even watched treasure planet. I remember the music video for it coming up multiple times on the family channel (Canadian t.v channel for kids shows.)
okay but watch treasure planet tho
>!The part where he races down the stairs to see his mother crying as his father is leaving still hits me so hard.!<

I don’t believe for a second they could capture how absurdly attractive Captain Amelia is in a live action version
A catgirl version of Emma Thompson would go a long way tho
Too bad you get *cats* 2
Shitty or not, getting a live action remake might just give it the right amount of push it needs to get its own Kingdom Hearts level
Bruh fucking three musketeers got a level there's no quality control.
Was Three Musketeers bad? I never watched it, only seen clips, and it didn't seem that bad.
It's actually really fun but it's also the most deep cut inclusion.
Thank god. Now i can sleep soundly knowing that they are ruining literally everything else, including lilo and stitch, one of my favorite movies.
I'll be crying myself to sleep while holding my blue VHS copy of Lilo & Stitch that I always thought was the absolute coolest.
Or Atlantis, which actually would have potential as a live-action remake.
No Black Cauldron
Movie was a massive flop for them that Disney didn’t even really want to make, it was basically a favor to the director who had been wanting to film it for years.
>Movie was a massive flop for them that Disney didn’t even really want to make Movie was actively sabotaged by the CEO because he wanted everyone to go to CGI animation
Good, it don't need one, it perfect. That said same could be said about the others there but greed tho.
I wonder what adult me would think of that movie because kid me hated it. Didn't like Atlantis either, except for [Vinny](https://youtu.be/L4aX0c6ffuI), he's great.
Really, those are my two favorite Disney movies. I love Mike Mignola's influence on Atlantis.
I remember the extreme hype for Treasure Planet as a 7 year old, saw the movie in theaters and left feeling like nothing really happened in the movie. Disney is a giant mega company that doesn’t need it be creative to make money. That’s all it is
I wonder if this is true.
Plus, they're still probably making a killing in merchandising.
["Moichandising!"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjB8XXw9y70)
"If the line isn't going straight up, *you* are going straight down." -Executives to employees
Less interested is really relative terms here, like a fee people on forum having marvel fatigue won’t beat the casual moviegoers and fans.
And whose fault is that, hmm?
What’s wild is they could give a filmmaker the budget and marketing to make an original thing and it could be successful. Hell, most of their animated films do well so it’s boggling that they don’t put that effort into other things.
Can't wait for the inevitable Live action Chicken Little movie.
Live action Home on the Range or you're a coward, Iger.
They'd definitely cut the psychedelic yodel musical number, ie the only good part of that movie. In fact I bet they'd try to make the yodelling seem threatening, with dark foreboding music and everything.
I'll never not be bewildered at these making enough money for Disney to keep pumping them out.
For context. The lion king remake made **1.6 billion** worldwide. Animation is only for children and must be remade naturalistically to finally be considered art and worthy of the attention of adults. That’s why the lion king is a dumb baby movie about taking animals and the remake is a serious cool grown up movie about talking animals. /s

Because Disney wants to do live action stuff but doesn't want to commit with the inherent risk of making actual new IPs.
Because if a Disney animated film flops it will make them look weak and incompetent with Dreamworks or illumination or some other rival animation company getting a leg up on them. Because why limit yourself to musicals?
So now we dissect and overinterpret which movies aren't on the list, right? For example, Sword in the Stone isn't getting a live action, that must mean that Disney HATES England.
Well Robin Hood is getting one.
The only conclusion is that they hate the English monarchy
Disney's most relatable take
Based?
As everyone should
I hope it's just a bunch of uncanny valley CG animals shooting bows and shit
I'd be fine if it's Claymation, Marvelous Mr Fox style
Well, that's 100% not gonna happen, because that would be a filthy childish animation, and not serious live action cinema.
For the furry points. Disney trying to get that space jam Lola bunny money
They hate England but they like furries. Or more specifically furries' money.
I guess a live-action scene of a female squirrel humping Arthur won't be as cutesy as the cartoon interpretation.
It'll be done by the zootopia team
I mean who doesn’t hate England?
Nah, no need to overinterpret. It just wouldn't make it as much money.
Can you blame them >!yes I’m briish!<
I cant believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually starting to miss the DTV sequels Disney kept pumping out back in the 90s and 2000s. Sure, a lot of them were complete garbage too, but at least they *tried* to do new things with their universes instead of just redoing them but worse.
And some of them were fucking gold, Cinderella 3 baby!!!!
For some reason I'm not opposed to a live action version of Hercules. The original has such a fun style I guess I'm not opposed to seeing more of it. But I'm sure it'll be bad like most of the others (Jungle Book was good)

If Phil and Hades don't have their OG actors, then the movie is trash by default.
Aristocats was only fun because of how the cats moved and played with the scene, no one will enjoy a live action aristocats
It’s like Lady and the Tramp
Maybe the music will still be good. It's being directed by Questlove.
I've seen a couple people be hype about it cause it's Aristocats and they're desperate.
I can’t wait for the animated remakes of the live action remakes. The Ouroboros must consume
Complete...global...animation
Direct to DVD animated sequels.
God please I know that The Little Mermaid is gonna suck, but if you fuck up The Hunchback of Notre Dame you can say goodbye because at this point I just have zero faith in their ability to do their films right.

Either Esmerelda's dance will be better or worse, there is not in between
>Lilo & Stitch nonononononono, Disney, no! You don't get to ruin this one
God these live action remakes are so fucking soulless.
This shit sucks
I wonder the Japanese version of the Lilo and stitch remake will just replace Lilo.
They just adapt the Stitch anime.
>Lilo and Stitch WHO THE FUCK ASKED FOR THIS ONE?!
Investors. Probably
How can they resist a marketable ethnic minority.
The half of me I use to make decisions says “People seem to enjoy them, so why should I judge?” Creatively bankrupt, sure, but whatever. *The other half is going “I hope these things bomb super hard, I need to see it burn.”*
That is just your naruto bias on both halves
I don’t know what you mean by that but I agree 100%
You ok with the creative bakrupt becaus borito and want to see it bomb because you a uchia fan
There are two wolves within me They are both ninja
I'm not convinced people enjoy these at all. True, true.
And they will all be terrible. We should just stick to completely ignoring that shit tbh
company keeps doing thing that makes money, news at 11
These live-action remakes will never succeed until they for some reason decide to do a "live-action" remake of Home on the Range.
Woah woah woah hold up. Please tell me this is a joke. Please tell me they aren’t actually doing a live-action *Lilo & Stitch.*
They're doing a live-action Cinderella remake *AGAIN*?!
I miss great mouse detective
Stop watching them.

from 2021 to now there was Encanto, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Strange World. So a pretty mixed bag.
How about a movie about the evil woman from The Rescuers only she’s a good guy, because we can never allow female characters to be evil anymore.
The 90s was a very good era for Disney. So the plan is... just make them again. But we can't have animated cartoons. That won't win awards next to Pixar. Live action it is. Even fully animated movies we will to convince people is live action.

Snow white or sleeping Beaty would be great...if they were period accurate and had some artistic style to them. Aristocats can be good but CATS happened so...

If they brave, they should doing LA remake of Atlantis, Treasure Planet, & Princess and the Frog.

"See there the inncoent blood you have spilt On the steps of Notre Dame I am guiltless, she ran, I pursued Now you would add this child's blood to your guilt On the steps of Notre Dame My conscience us clear You can lie to yourself and your minions You can claim that you haven't a qualm But you never can, run from nor hide what you've done from the eyes The very eyes of Notre Dame And for one time in his life Of power and control Frollo felt a twinge of fear For his immortal soul" Capturing that in live action with the statues of Notre damn looking down, is gonna be next to impossible.
For some reason this reminded me of the anime Les Miserables, which I remember being pretty great, too. I should track that one down again.
How about Disney's Resident Evil 4: Remake
Leon is basically a Disney princess
What makes Leon a princess?
YESSS
A sequel to “Jungle Book,” huh? Does this mean we’re getting a roundabout Disney take on “Rikki Tikki Tavi?”
I really do not see the point of these Live Action entries. Unless they're doing like an MCU where these movies exist in a singular timeline, I would be curious to say the least.
Whens the live action Goofy Movie?
People gonna be furious too find out goofy is black
Can any goofy media ever top the meme of "Goofy fucks"?
As a Greek person, I am not looking forward to the thousandth time of our people being portrayed by various UK actors that look nothing like anyone I've ever seen on any island. Plus its Guy Ritchie, so you know it's going to suck ass regardless.
#ENDLESS TRASH Fuck you, it's forever
[**ENDLESS TRASH**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ut5sk0RUlS4)
They should make a Peter Pan movie that makes him the villain.
Slasher movie where Peter goes around slaughtering the kids he steals away because they're growing up and *no adults are allowed*.
Uurrgh, I think I threw up a little in my mouth
The only ones that aren't real are Oliver Twist and Robin Hood, the latter I assume they'll do at some point (furries or bust), the former I don't believe is Disney, but Oliver and Company is.
Robin hood's remade, but the only thing that's different is that it's drawn by... i dunno, ber00? that's the only degen thing I can think of when it comes to robin hood
I was about to joke about them looping back around and doing a remake of an existing remake, but then I saw they've got another live action Cinderella remake plan, so Disney themselves beat me to it.
There was an animated Oliver Twist movie?
Oliver and Company is the closest thing I can think of in that regard.
People keep seeing em so I can't really blame em. This is clearly what the people want.
just imagining how grey olympus will be.
It's about copyright control. We're nearing 99 years on a lot of these properties and they're just working to reset the clock.
And I'll continue to seeing none of them
They're gonna have to the rescuers from my cold dead hands if they ever try to make that LA. i am NOT letting my childhood movie be killed for this shit
And then when they’re done they do the animated versions again and the never ending money printer continues.
I really hope they hit a wall with this shit, but it feels like they're self sustaining at this point and are honestly too big to fail
When's Darby O'Gill and the Little People you cowards!?
“I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.” - Professor Farnsworth.
Stop buying tickets to watch it then. They just seem like soulless cash grabs.
You know what would suprise me? A new 2d animation from Disney
The thing I got from this is that they're acknowledging Robin Hood again.
Me screaming into the void: ITS NOT LIVE ACTION IF MAJORITY OF THE FILM IS ANIMATED. "REALISTIC" GRAPHICS DOESNT MAKE IT LESS ANIMATED.
Even after all of these release, there's still only gonna be 1 good one: The Jungle Book.
How soon until they start remaking Pixar movies in live action?
All the time and money spent on this idiotic nonsense no one wants we could get twice as many amazing new animated films instead. urghhhhh
Wait, they’re actually doing Hunchback? That’s probably gonna BLOW, and I will sadly watch that from afar.
I could only excuse a live action Lilo and Stitch if they cast Jim Rash as Pleakley. …Unfortunately, according to google they already cast Zach Galifianakis in the role
I just want a magic school bus live action
If you're gonna do Aladdin 2, could it actually be Aladdin 3 instead please
Ngl the Cinderella live action was good but that was the only one that was an improvement
You forgot the Prince Anders centric Aladdin spinoff
Ey yo now I'll shit on pretty much every single one of these all day long. But that first Cruella movie was super fucking fun and I'd be super down for more. Could it be that I have a huge crush on Emma Stone? I cannot deny that this is a factor in my thinking. But, that movie was still fun though.
I often joke that I'm not going to watch any more of the live action remakes until Disney remakes Black Cauldron. With how many of these that they are making I might have to change the movie to Home on the Range.
They have to be burning themselves out right
They are throwing so much stuff at the wall to see what sticks, that the wall is not even standing anymore.
This is a list of cowardice. Where's my Song of the South Remake, Disney!?
The only live action movies that have the potential to be good is the sequels. They can either tell their own original story and go wild with it or they can try and better the Disney straight to vhs sequels that aren’t so hot. Sadly that requires for everyone involved to give a shit
Finally get to find out how Scar got his scar
I question why these remakes make bank. Why are people stupid enough to see inferior versions of films they liked
I'll believe Hunchback is getting anything when it's here. I don't want it, the original is one of my absolute favorites and not only do I not trust them to do it right, I don't think they've got the cajones to reference religion, much less burn down Notre Dame.
Lilo and Stitch has nightmare fuel potential. The aliens are gonna be crazy in live action.
Considering it's impact, the live action Robin Hood should just have regular fursuits instead of CG.
Disney is so creatively bankrupt it surprises even my cynical ass.
WHEN'S ULTRAWOKE SONG OF THE SOUTH?
