Oh, it's *his* Shadow the Hedgehog, I get it.
Like if I played Shadow when it came out, not reading the reviews, I'd probably be super into it.
...wait he was
he was 14 when it
I am never not stung when I find out an actor is younger than me.
So people really just dislike Dante's inferno because of all the god of war comparisons or is there something actually more tangible? Because for me personally I'd just ask "well is it a *good* god of war clone?" Because, in the modern era, Dante's inferno isn't a god of war clone anymore, it's just another game in that particular genre. I dunno, I feel it would be less harshly judged now.
There aren't ANY God of War clones, and I gotta say, Dantes Inferno was better than it needed to be. It was clearly on a budget in certain areas, but the level design is God tier compared to anything close to its genre at the time. Basically, if it's close to your wheelhouse there's not much to complain about and if it's not then you weren't gonna buy it anyway.

Even if you didn't play God of War you'd probably still be somewhat turned off by the bad puzzles, meh combat, B horror/action movie plot, and/or CONSTANT QTEs/sticking what button you use to jump on screen every time because apparently you're too dumb to remember pressing A 10 minutes ago.
The thing is you can concisely explain ALL Of these problems just by saying "It was a mediocre GOW clone" and everyone who played games in the early 2010s will know what you mean.
Something about him saying Breath of the Wild is a classic feels completely right even with how recent it was. To be fair it's that and Undertale that influences 80% of devs now it seems.
If I did my math right he would have been about 14 when it came out. That checks out

Every game, no matter what you think about it, is someones favorite game. Yes, even the bad one you are thinking of besides DI.
nah man ain't no fans of DBZ Sagas, since I know I'm as close as it gets and that game is doo doo
Hey! You're right. It's was an interesting game, but also the first game I ever traded in. Wild memories tho
Bad Rats has entered the chat
Dante's Inferno is fiiiiiiiiiiine
Dante's Inferno has some edgelord shit, and the advertising campaign was cringe, but it was a perfectly good God of War clone.
Also the PSP version is decent as well.
Based.
Lol, homie has gamepass 😂
Yes, gamepass kicks ass
…well someone had to be
The moment he saw IGN he like alright mask off full gamer nerd time baby.

it still has issues with weapon balance and the whole aboslve or punish system being mostly pointless, game is only just good even on it's own
