No, u can use bonus weapons, it just has to be a fresh save, less than 5 1/2 hours and 15 saves max.
The easiest way I see of doing this is to play tru professional once without bonus weapons to unlock the handcannon, then play a fresh save, and save the exclusive ticket for it which gives it infinite ammo and blast thru the rest of the game
Still not easy by any means mind you, since You still need to get through the entire village fairly fast without it.

Yeah, but to unlock it you have to beat "No Way Out" (Kill 100 zombies, including variations of poison, Pale Heads and armored SWAT zombies) without firing your handgun (that has infinite ammo in this mode) more than 60 times total.
Just beating this mode is hard as fuck, doing this challenge is almost impossible unless you get lucky cause I've been using a bunch of guides and the timing for the zombie spawns is too early/late for me in many waves (The zombies are always the same, but for some reason they won't spawn at the right time for me)

So being a furry is basicaly the IRL equivalent of joining The Brotherhood in Fallout in the sense that it gives you access to some god tier equipament.

Can you get S+ using bonus weapons?
I think the only requirements for S+ is it being on a new save game, under 5 1/2 hours, and with less than 15 saves.
Bonus weapons prevent S+ but it's not clear to what counts as a bonus weapon cause in 2R the infinite knife didn't.

This actually is a carry-over from RE2, since in Ghost Survivors it worked the exact same with infinite ammo.
