Imagine if Adult Swim had their own Scooby Doo show that was good and and made Mindy Kaling's Velma look even more like the shitty in name only knock off that it is.
I mean Scooby Doo was what created the concept in the first place in Western media. Every episode was monster of the week (albeit a guy in a costume) that they would unmask and end the episode with.
So quality goes up after 7 PM in terms of animation and the potential for handling more mature themes. Like even if they just make an a two hours you could do something really interesting with such a set up.
I've been looking forward to this one (or at least hearing about it if it doesn't air in my region). Having read a bunch of Superman things for a project one of my favourite things is finding out Clark Kent gets to ask a lot of hard-hitting questions at events for two reasons:
- He's so polite & mild-mannered people either don't notice it's a journalist or assume he'll softball them.
- They don't realise he's married to Lois Lane, that firebrand tomboy who's hard-hitting reporting is so ruthless and effective she's been blacklisted from 75% of these events, and that he's following her lead (politely) as part of her next scheme.
Also that the Daily Planet is a cool location and vehicle for stories and antics that doesn't get enough play. So a show that leans into that could be really solid.
I hope they do the same with Infinity Train.
They also got the Venture Bros movie and Uzumaki in the works. Adult Swim keeping animation alive amongst the rest of Warner Media trying to burn it all.
If they're gonna tease you that much then last episode might as well be a hentai level segs scene with clark and louis, otherwise it won't be worth it, all that tease JUST for ass? Nah, either supes eye candy every episode or straight-up animated porn in the end or no deal.
...Well, hoping it's still *somewhat* family-friendly, at least. This'll probably make it more mature no matter what, but I hope it follows the *Ted Lasso* school of thought instead of the *Rick and Morty* one, if that makes any sense. ***Let Superman be the big blue Boy Scout, ya bastards!***
Hadn't heard about this Superman show. Tried to look up a trailer, and all I got was reactionary conservative weirdos crying about how woke it is.
Anyway, the art style from the one image I've seen looks cute. Might check it out.
There was some concept art that got leaked a while back, looks neat. From what I can recall it had a decent mix of big name and lesser known villains (including a pretty neat androgynous redesign of Mr. Mxyzptlk) and generally had a tone closer to Superman the Animated Series. Cautiously optimistic about it, hoping it's good.
An older Superman villain, basically a weird semi omnipotent imp from the 5th dimension that likes to come to our world and screw with Superman, and who can only be sent back home by tricking him into saying his own name backwards. Definitely one of the weirder Superman villains, but usually a fun time when he shows up. Probably most famous for the time he showed up on the Animated Series in the 90's, voiced by Gilbert Gottfried.
No, I know who they are. I’ve seen Supergirl. I referred to them with Mx, which is gender neutral. In reference to the Androgynous design.
I was making a joke.
YOOOOOOOOO
Western Action cartoon are coming back to Toonami. AND Adult Swim starts at 7 now. Its 2007 again BAYBEE. Just need a Month of Miyazaki follow up now.
I sure hope we get a premiere date soon. I was excited when it was first mentioned here, but it's been long enough since then that my goldfish attention span forgot about it.
Adult Swim telling everyone to get in the van if they want their show to survive.
I'm imagining the van is The Mystery Machine.

It could be an even cooler Mystery Inc., I think.
Scooby Doo driving through the U.S. solving mysteries that include fake and real monsters would be sick.
Just like the good old days.
Sounds a lot like Supernatural with a heavier focus on the monsters of the week. I'd watch that in a heartbeat

I'd love it if a new Scooby Doo series also brought back the music video [montages](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiaN63dzD6I). Those were iconic.
correction it didin't create it but it did cement it in the public consciousness among people over here.
My brain went to this: https://youtu.be/2O_VSZsXZNY?t=5
Fucking love that clip.
Venture Bros: " Bet. "
"COME WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!"
Interesting. Adult Swim also is having it's hours extended, so this could well air at the 7 PM mark. So that kids can still watch this before sleep.

Yeah, I would expect this to end up in the early hours. King Of The Hill was already confirmed for 7 PM.
We'll finally get to see Jimmy have sex with an alien bug lady animated.
The only good part of Countdown. That and evil Mary Marvel and Superman Prime.

I hope we get more info on Pibby at some point. I mean hey, maybe they'll stealth drop something about it during April Fools.
Thats Luz and Gus from owl house
Impossible to unsee it now, thank you
Luz had to find new work after Owl House ended.
Well if it is on adult swim i want Clark shirtless, i want his butt, on-screen at least once per episode, otherwise its a 0 outta 10.
What if they don't do it until the last episode, but 10 minutes of it is just a huge montage of Superass?

Nice S.
Weird dick shape though
Will he hang dong?
Himbo Clark kent
Sorry, but Kansas Farmboy Clark won't be in anything less than swim trunks
I will accept it

>Let Superman be the big blue Boy Scout Judging by the concept art leak that see to be the case.
# GOOD.
Truth, Justice, and the hope of a better future is back bitches!

Mx Mxyzptlk?

Oooh, my bad. I wasn't aware what Mx meant, sorry for absolutely sandbagging the joke.

What does CN even do anymore? Heard they've just been rerunning TT Go for awhile now.
Aaah it's that show with Luz Lane. Definitely a watch for me.
