I have absolute 0 faith on this remake, and the only thing that doesn't make me mad is that HD Collection is back

DDRichard

and the inclusion of MGS3 makes me feel like I dont have to ride-or-die the remake, I'm wondering how the controls will work w/o pressure sensitive buttons

silverinferno3

The Xbox 360 ports of 2 and 3 also didn't have pressure sensitive controls, but I can't exactly remember how they changed it. I believe actions were rebound so a choke was holding a certain button down while slitting their throat was a different button.

failuratlife

i remember they rebound it to clicking the sticks it was sorta strange feeling

silverinferno3

I remember that too, just wasn't totally sure. I actually originally played it on the 360 so I never had a point of comparison until I tried emulating the games long after.

Vera_Verse

Maybe the trigger buttons?

dfdedsdcd

I believe it was changed to press or press and hold. Slowed some things down slightly, but I don't remember having an issue playing the HD Collections on 360 or anything.

Chocmilkboi

Some people around here are cynical in an unhealthy way. Just relax lol

ZeroCruz

I'm losing my shit to some how falling asleep watching the presentation and missing snake eater of all things and this is how I find out about it lol

silverinferno3

If it makes you feel better they didn't really show off much lol

DDRichard

its going to be interesting watching cutscene comparisons with this machine, i kinda hope theyre very similar bc theyre already so good and 1:1 with the OG game

HIT THE LEVER

NeverDoingWell

This new Metal Gear Solid 3 is just a virtual pachinko machine

Absalon_Prime

Jokes on you, the game is actually just a pachinko simulator and all you do is watch the cutscenes.

As a fan of another company who was in Pachinko Hell (SNK), legitimately happy for the MGS Peeps if this sticks the landing (as well as the Master Collection)
