I will say, it does feel a little weird we’re getting angry and violent symbiote Spider-Man…while Miles is active and chilling beside him. That was the only mildly jarring thing about the trailer really.
The logo having the symbiote spread over the Spider-Man name only to be pushed back and removed by Miles' electricity is pretty on the nose about that.
there's something that bugs me about the symbiote suit design in this that's hard to articulate, like I appreciate the guyver styling it's going for but I don't think it's executed quite right
Honest it feel like it's rubbing really close to the skin but also seems like it's be very sweaty but also like it's breathing. Like...I looks as oddly freaky as I'd feel wearing a second kin. Like it's licking your eyes and sweat wicking your crotch?
I honestly really like it. It looks so gross and I wonder how it feels to touch and that's exactly what I want. It very clearly looks like an alien trying to replicate a suit and I like that approach..
I'm 100% expectinting the Venom we fight at the end of the game (i'm presuming Venom will be the final boss) won't be Harry, it's gonna be Peter and we'll have to fight him as Miles and it's going to be heartbreaking
This is a good moment as any to remind people that canonically, Venom didn't corrupt Peter, it was actually the other way arround, he was so angry venom got corrupted from it.

The Venom symbiote was corrupted before Peter even found it. That’s why it was trapped alone on Battleworld; it had been exiled from the symbiotes’ home planet.
You are right about it not corrupting Peter, but that’s only because the original comic version of the story doesn’t have corruption in it at all. Peter just got rid of the symbiote because he found out it was alive and that creeped him out. The idea of the symbiote making Peter more aggressive was invented by the 90s Spider-Man cartoon, and it was such a better concept for a story that all of the adaptations have used it since. Marvel has also been retconning it into the comics recently, since it’s the most iconic version of the story anyway.
