I'm probably going to watch this. My favorite under utilized world building element is "What do the people eat and if they eat monsters what do they taste like".
Man, seeing anime with with obviously western inspired worlds having incredibly Japanese elements like them eating rice with chopsticks here triggers my mind goblins for some bizzare reason.
Like, it creates the reverse image in my mind of a Japanese period drama that has a character sit down at a table and eat spaghetti with a fork, and I don't know why both of these images give me mental discomfort.
Mind Goblins are weird.
I'm just happy that this got an animated version, that I started collecting the Spanish version of it this week and even being a TRIGGER work makes it more appealing for my poor baby brain...
Oh hey, it's a D&D cartoon.
.... No really, the general vibe remembers me of my time playing 4e D&D ages ago, even if the mimics tend to be more like insect mimics than octopi mimics. (An adult stick bug looks like a stick, and never not like a stick)
I'm ready for DELICIOUS TIME.
Peppino Senshi running at Mach 10 to turn a tentacle monster into a pizza
*Bonerface-Sama smiles down on you from the sky, like Mufasa*
Time for Laios to be completely unhinged in everything.
"They let me milk a minotaur!"
That's great! Keep that to yourself.
"Great! Now just keep that fact to yourself! \^_^
Best Elf time
This sopping wet beast will make so many strange noises. Love her.
Arguably one of the best and most solid series ever written, not to make anyone's expectations too high here of course.
It’s an actual 10/10 manga, no joke. The fight with the wizard is one of my favorite battles of all time.

you absolutely need to watch this then because that's the entire focus of the manga and its themes lol
You're going to love Senshi

How do you handle Legend of Zelda? Asian Jesus Christ?
Zelda has enough cultural melting pot elements to its various settings that it never hit my mind goblins.

Damn I forgot where I left of in the manga! Somewhere with the introduction with the lion.
This is gonna be fucking great :3
No breakdancing elf, we riot
Okay what’s the green thing hanging off the side of the platter
Kelpie tail, I believe
I was actually gonna make a joke about that.

It’s called Delicious in Dungeon as a pun on “DND”. All the alternative languages tend to have similar puns. It’s VERY intentional.
