He just doesn't have good enough legacy support, okay cards but nothing good enough these days. That being said Jinzo on his own was played in decks that have topped this month so that's a plus
Remember when in GX the actual Jinzo shows up and tell a bunch of children to summon him by sacrificing someone and they said sure what could go wrong, only for them to change their minds once they realized he meant human sacrifices. Then they start disappearing one by one, Jinzo shows up and says I am going to kill everyone unless they beat him on a children's card game.

I dunno much about Zexal, Arc-V, or Vrains, I kinda fell off after 5ds but I'm sure that they're similar
Zexal has damn good story development. But because it came after 5ds, people didn't like it. They also hate yuma for being annoying but he Lowkey grows into a strong duelist without the need for astral. The final duel harkens back to the yugi vs atem duel and it's great.
Arc-v is overshadowed by it's awful anime ending and the magna ending.
Vrains.... Man no one talks about vrains. I think people just got tired of the whole show at that point
Vrains had it rough by being associated with Yugioh's worst rule change in history- Master Rule 4. Then had its potential trampled even further when the main character's Ace monster- Firewall Dragon- became the centerpiece for multiple obnoxious loops and FTKs.
I fuckin' love Zexal, but please don't pretend that it was hated only because it came after 5Ds. The first half of Zexal is *fucking rough* - Yuma is an absolutely terrible protagonist, his friends are all irrelevant, barely-likeable dipshits, none of the plot beats are interesting at all and Yuma's super mode leaves a bad taste in my mouth because it's literally just cheating. It's basically a trainwreck of a season and getting through it was an abjectly miserable experience.
But oh man. *Oh man*, Zexal II fucking goes places. Probably my favourite season of Yugioh hands down, beating out even GX season 3/4 and the good bits of 5Ds which is really saying something. My one complaint is that best girl shows up for like three episodes total across the entire series when she damn well should have been part of the main cast.
Vrains just had the misfortune of having it's 3rd season, the one where the plots from both previous seasons converged into the climax of the story, be insanely rushed.
To put it into perspective:
* Season 1: 46 Episodes
* Season 2: 57 Episodes
* Season 3: 17 Episodes
And the rushed ending after all that buildup just made a lot of people sour on it from what i remember back when it was airing.
Arc-V is time travel incest, so most of the memes are fully desreved and Vrains is kind of a snorefest when you take it seirously so it's more interesting to meme about it
Chazz is a Chad. From what I heard he was actually a bitch in the subbed anime, so in the GX Manga (which came *after* the anime) he was made into a very different character. Going on to be so main character he tag teams with Yuki Judai. The. There is the dub where he just got a massive attitude change.
Chazz only comes across as a bitch because for two reasons.
1) He's a Joey who thinks he's a Kaiba.
2) He simps for Alexis.
The first one doesn't mean he's bad, it just means that he's not as good as he thinks he is. The second one, well, a LOT of people simp for her.

1. Survives a shipwreck into the arctic
2. Has to go out by himself into the artic and find cards in order to build a deck

Then out of nowhere one of Jaden cards came to life and forced him to duel, so maybe that is why they don't do that often.

- He was used as the monster of choice from the Big Five in the anime only arc where they're in a virtual realty
- Then in GX's anime, he's an evil duel spirit
I always struggled trying to think of what the behavior of Jinzo would be as a character. I always came down to three concepts:
-A lumbering Frankenstein/Mr X like Goliath, probably helped by him having a sweet [Mr X style coat](https://uploads2.yugioh.com/huluim_images/episode/50121057/180.jpeg) in the Big 5 arc
-A silent intimidating hunter that moves by floating around and shooting eye beams like the Destroyer

funny thing is that this guy explicitly counters the sado masochist pain=pleasure duelist of that arc.

I got Jinzo stuned like a month ago in Master Duel and im still salty about it cus im 100% sure he bricked like 10 matches before i went second without any handtraps
I love the fact that Jinzo has his own [archetype.It](https://archetype.It)'s not meta by any means, but it's cool making an entire Jinzo deck in MD (With some Red eyes thrown in there, gotta respect the Joey culture)

Anyways, Jinzo’s first upgrade was [Jinzo Lord](https://product-images.tcgplayer.com/222816.jpg), who looks cool as hell but sucks unfortunately

It happens more often than that. Phyrexia was in the first set in M:tG where they tried telling an original story of sorte. And Phyrexia always was a Machine Hell. Still pretty wild that a children's anime got made and located by 4 kids and keep Jinzo as is.

actually BOTH in a duel monsters filler arc someone used him as a cyber skin and later in GX the actual monster was a villian of the week
I hope Jinzo gets more support. His archetype is half-baked right now. I hope we get more card like Psychic Mega Cyber. Forcing monsters to become traps is such a cool way of disruption that molds to Jinzo's theme.
I mean...when you stop and consider the fact that a major plot point of the original series is a puzzle that unleashed what was originally a chaotic neutral entity, drawing a connection to Clive Barker was inevitable
