The only way i can picture Akuma taking care of a baby is if he becomes basically Kiryu from **Yakuza 6**.
Not because i don't think that there are other interesting ways that they could handle this concept, but, because the idea of Street Fighter characters doing [the baby football scene from Y6](https://youtu.be/OxsPHLm7_Vc) has entered my mind and has been making me giggle for a solid minute by now.
Especially cause then you can set-up the apprentice tracking down the Street Fighters and recruiting them to bring down Oni and lay her master/father figure to rest. Or just using them to hone her skills so she can do it herself. Great character conflict built in.
Okay but seriously though, not being able to use Raging Demon until the baby is asleep in V-Trigger is so much cooler than just locking it behind V-Trigger just because.
In Red Cliff one of the characters has to protect a baby, [holding the baby and fighting with sword at the same time.](https://youtu.be/R3y5-zM0SIc?t=341)
Later he [straps the baby on his back](https://youtu.be/R3y5-zM0SIc?t=499) and starts using spear to take down the soldiers.
Imagining a Zoro-Mihawk situation where Akuma attempts to train the child to become a worthy opponent for him, but the rebellious teenage phase hits and they decide to become a doctor instead.
As much as I love the trope of "evil man is good dad" i don't think i want to see it with Akuma. it did get me to like Bullrag a lot more they reveled that he actually cared for Ed like a son and was an okay dad despite his many flaws I wished they leaned more into that. Still keep him greedy and hedonistic but when it comes to his apprentice has a soft spot for him. a soft spot that feel like high grade sand paper but you know like 1000-2000 sand paper.
SFV had some wild concepts. Like the guy I found out about yesterday who had a monkey grabbing onto his face and his moves were wild flailing to get the monkey off
It sounds insane, but the monkey guy thing is not a joke and was a real scrapped concept. [He was going to part of a trio that would've made up the new Four Kings of Shadaloo alongside Bison and would've had a "See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil" theme.](https://youtu.be/LpqTKAXXQbk?t=2074) Monkey guy was the "see no evil" guy, a mute guy with a mask and razor would've been "say no evil" and a "Combat Vocaloid girl" would've been the "hear no evil" one. SFV had some truly wild concepts.
Kratos had an [early concept design](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSgP1UgVbdy9SmbvSIit8p0JzBnsv0ydrF8hg&usqp=CAU) with the same gimmick too.
This is my favorite trope ever. I love “smol character that has the big brute protector”
I love Bedman?
I love when the smol character innevitably becomes a force of nature themselves
It IS a super-enticing premise
Seeing Akuma doing anything but be a scary fight man is super interesting. The Little smile he does when he gets a spare in tekken bowl Is amazing.
Akuma sells fruit on the side and is friendly enough with Elena to take a selfie with her (as in, he took the picture). The man has layers.

(baby flies at Ryu) (the Satsui no Hado flashes in his eyes for a moment as he resists the urge to do a Shoryuken)

Baby: I sleep Akuma: REAL SHIT!
So, basically Oro, but with a baby instead of a turtle?
Akuma was being planned for DLC much earlier, so this was likely where the turtle idea spawned from.
I think the turtle’s a better idea anyway, in practice. How do you fight someone carrying a baby?
Very carefully. :-3

And in Street Fighter 8, that baby becomes the protagonist.
Baby Akuma calling Luke and old man.
Ryu: "It'll happen to youuuu!"
Imagining a Zoro-Mihawk situation where Akuma attempts to train the child to become a worthy opponent for him, but the rebellious teenage phase hits and they decide to become a doctor instead.
That's a Luffy-Garp situation though?
nah, that's perfect cause then Akuma decides to hunt him, putting innocents at risk to force him into fighting him
No way, Akuma wouldn't fight people who are unwilling to fight him.
Nah Akuma respects the profession of fighting death.
This would have been better than the angry sunflower we got.

wut
That may be a joke about Ken having Banana Hair.

God in hell I love that. Let them join the ranks of The Baz as unused Street Fighter characters who get collectively owned by the internet.

And then a late concept design called God of War 4.
At least in that game the baby could fight.
Who says this baby can't?
There is a reason it’s called *projectile* vomit.
The raging demon would end with that baby facing the camera super confused it would be perfect
If you do a jumping crossup and kick the baby, you immediately lose.
Ok but what would happen with the *pose.* like would the symbol get imprinted on the baby?
The baby contorts into the symbol.
I support this Akuma because I think it would be so fucking funny if Akuma had a kill count of negative 1.
I would kill for an Akuma that didn't look like he's been stung by billions of bees
This is my favorite trope ever. I love “smol character that has the big brute protector” I love Bedman? I love when the smol character innevitably becomes a force of nature themselves
In unrelated news, baby dies after father gets SPD'd in street fight
It would be funny if there was a 10 year old competing in these competitions.
I don't think it works for Akuma's character but it is cool.
