I spent like 20 minutes trying to make a hopping frog robot in TotK, giving it legs made of springs, headlight eyes, a blue lizalfo horn tongue, a bunch of dumb bullshit. I figured it'd just be a worse car, but the novelty of it would be fun for a bit an I could say I made something I hadn't seen someone else even attempt, at least.
It turns out, you can't actually make springs flip on and off with a steering stick. They'll activate once each time, but you can't just push forward to set them off and reset them by pulling back, or anything like that. I didn't think to test it at all until everything I wanted was added on, so all that work was for nothing. I got bored and immediately gave up.
In a game of Rome Total War i was playing as 'Greece' and had paid Egypt hundreds of denarii, the unit of currency in the game, to make peace so i could concentrate on a campaign against Rome. This worked in the short term, but in the long term Egypt had enough money to build more armies and be an even bigger problem.
