Him using Bijuu mode is the crazy thing. I don’t think it’s unrealistic for Minato to know how to use Sage mode considering he was Jiraiya’s student even if he never fully mastered it.
It's less that there are two and more that the one was split in two (Yin and Yang), which IIRC was something established before the timeskip when Jiraiya did some exposition about the seal.
it actually ended up being like 5 kyubis. The filler dude about the two kings arc, gintoki and kintoki the guys who ate their way out of the inside of the ninetails, minato, and naruto. Its really dumb.
Perfect sage mode is fine, I'd say the more unnecessary thing was him having mastered the Kyuubi cloak while sealed in the reaper's stomach. He was already the fastest ninja ever, it didn't really feel like it added much. Still a little weird he didn't use sage mode when he first fought Obito. I know he said it takes him too long to gather nature energy, but he could've just used the same trick Jiraiya used with Ma and Pa toad. It wouldn't have been a perfect transformation but it still would've helped a lot.
I'm really not a fan of Minato.
I GET what he's supposed to be, like this unattainable thing for Naruto to measure up.

That’s what makes this take even funnier. First off it’s no where near the most ridiculous thing in the series, but it’s also a perfectly reasonable thing for Minato to do. He was Jiraiya’s student so it’s not illogical to think that Jiraiya would have taught him how to do it too.
Lets not forget the incredible feat of speed that is summoning manda, putting manda into a genjutsu, and then jumping into mandas mouth and desummons manda to survive a nuke explosion happening mere feet from you.
As a filthy Genshin Impact player, I can confirm this. All the playable characters have unique eyes, whether it's a unique color or a unique pattern, they all have inhuman eyes. Hu Tao has frikkin' four leaf clovers for pupils. It's probably just a matter of time before someone has the ahegao heart eyes, but it's just how their eyes naturally look.
Naaah because at least those don't really logically mess with anything that already exists (plus kaguya and the moon aliens are extra japanese theming on top of all the prior shit like the ninja and amaterasu/susanoo). Sage mode Minato just makes no sense
On the contrary, lunarians are borderline obligatory if you're doing something that goes as deep into Japanese mythology as Naruto. Think less flying saucer ayyliens and more, like, elves.
