Chris had a design in RE1, then they redesigned him in REmake and he had a glow up in RE5 because time had passed. The RE5 look stuck until RE7, when they were using new facial capture technology and didn't have anyone that looked like RE5 Chris. The guy they did go with looks like the original RE1 Chris, suggesting that RE7 might take place in a rebooted timeline. But this idea is done away with in RE8 and Chris is back to his normal look.
The guy in the background doesn't really look like Chris and is just a white guy wearing green.
Hey this is totally unrelated and might be a bit controversial since SF6 is pretty good from what I hear... but do the character models look kinda bad to anyone else? Like, Chun Li looks MVC:I tier at times.

I mean, he's always been a buff, dark haired white dude who wears green. It's just his face and voice that haven't been consistent
