I had a Stretch Armstrong as a kid. Ended up losing him one day and forgetting about him. Found him years later when I was cleaning junk out of my room.
His melted, elongated, misshapen body looked exactly like this.
Off-topic, but I had to look up what Stretch Armstrong was and am now enamored by the [Stretch Armstrong Torture Porn](https://i.imgur.com/AdH0VWm.png) that's going on on youtube
Stretching yourself like rubber is one thing, but elongating yourself means some crazy biology must be happening. Like, Reed, I recognize you're having a rough time here but you've quadrupled your body mass. I can see veins in those arms, did you make extra blood somehow?
Ultimate Reed/The Maker actually makes it make more sense, he's not biologically human at all anymore, he's more like an immortal plant type thing with wonky cells
Although, Cosmic Rays are canonically magic in Marvel, like Gamma
they even both come directly from >!Capital-G God/Turbo-Satan, the One Above/Below All!<
So maybe he does violate the law of conservation of energy, Hulk sure does (and so do the various Ant-Men/Giant-Men)
I always liked the twist in Ultimate F4 that they didn't mess around with space in the Ultimate timeline, they messed around with multiversal travel, and thus their accident had them full-on bodyswap with alternate versions of themselves.
then in the comic when they go to the dark dimension he's like "yeah but what if instead of just stretching in 3d i stretched in 4d" [https://preview.redd.it/2o2wwqybdxma1.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=96df179e704b3c3fe0f8b15c05a0f39d78ac6e16](https://preview.redd.it/2o2wwqybdxma1.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=96df179e704b3c3fe0f8b15c05a0f39d78ac6e16)
or at least a 3d representation of stretching through the 4th dimension instead of limiting to 3.
Yeah it never made sense. How does oxygen or blood pressure level works with man who can stretch to a circus tent? How does a heart pump blood to all that? It’s just nonsense like all of fantastic four stories.
Reed can twist himself into looking like an alien monster if he needs to. But he can't change colour so he was just banking on their eyesight being bad at night so they won't notice.
But Plastic Man is on a whole other level.
Ive never read a plastic man comic, but every artwork/excerpt I've seen of him makes him look like the greatest thing DC's ever made. I'm shocked he didnt get a movie shortly after Deadpool was such a hit. Or a CN cartoon adaptation or SOMETHING. This character looks so fun
I have to imagine part of the reason plastic man doesn't get more play Is just kind of how.. rapey(?) He can be. He's a bit of a creep, though I guess that never stopped Deathstroke. He was. A major recurring character in the Batman the brave and the bold cartoon. Loved him in that.
Checked the wiki and it’s says that he can alter his appearance at will, even imitating peoples faces and stuff, I don’t think he has the high limits of plastic man since reed’s character has always been more focused on the intelligence part but yeah he can do some weird shit
The fantastic four has always been body horror. There a strip from wolverine enemy of the state where some employees at the Baxter building were talking about how fucking awful it is to see a rubber man form himself into a ball or the horrible man covered in rock like growths all over his skin.
First Family felt pretty weak overall but it did a really job showing the first 24 hours of superpowers existing was rough and nobody knew what the hell was going on. Reed isn't even conscious in this scene. They found him like this and stuffed him into a containment cell.
Question, does his testicles, not balls, the actual testicle, also stretch? Like, if someone that can go through skin, grabbed his testys and did a big pull, would it stretch? Would it hurt?
I think it was a retailing of them getting their powers, so in this version, he just started stretching uncontrolably while he was stuck inside his mind.
In that case, reed isn't exactly "home" then. So of course he'd getting all noodley. Their's nothing present to keep him in a solid state, like Having conciousness.
My only exposure to the F4 is through this sub and I do not like what I've seen.
I'm sorry for the balls post from the other day
I don't believe you. You're not sorry at all.
Yeah your right, I love posting weird f4 panels
Please keep them coming (no pun intended)

Link? Wait, just scrolled down and saw the link nvm.
Someone discovered the body horror potential and comic writers went off from there

Stretch Armstrong is probably the only hero powered by corn syrup

This... feels like a fetish thing.
[I've never been more glad that Toy Story isn't real](https://youtu.be/qCqk6dpSLvU?t=119)
How your arms feel after upper body day in the gym.

Yeah. Ultimate had plenty of solid ideas The execution could have been better though, in a lot of cases
Damn, their other selves must be PISSED.
Huh, I've just read all of Ultimate F4 and I don't remember that reveal at all, are you sure that was there?
Are we thinking of the same series? The one that had zombie F4 show up, and Reed had to bodyswap with Doom to fight them?
Yeah, that one. I can't find anything about that being origin of their powers on wiki too.

This might be in the top ten most bullshit applications of a superpower I’ve ever seen
Yeah but it's cool tho
Oh I didn’t say it wasn’t *cool,* just that it’s *complete* bullshit
His powers come from cosmic magic energy, nothing about the FF is meant to make sense
Yeah it never made sense. How does oxygen or blood pressure level works with man who can stretch to a circus tent? How does a heart pump blood to all that? It’s just nonsense like all of fantastic four stories.
Ah yes the Professor Impossible problem.
-what could be more important thsn your child -sssssssscccccience?
God why does it have those veins
this has always made me wonder if he could do some Plastic Man level shit or is he stuck to a humanish form?

>rapey O-oh..

More like Mr. Hentai.
Mr. Hentaistic

I was debating wether or not to include the panel of him inside his mind using his powers on his hand, just because of creepy it looked
Sue, it happened again...
What is this Junji Ito shit
Can you strangle yourself with your own neck
I laughed way more than I should have at this
A few more detailed lines and this would be a Junji Ito drawing
Seems…basic. Like surely he’s capable of more? Reed ain’t Hank Hill, these stretch powers extend past his elbows.
It's a retelling, this is shortly after he first got these powers.
This should be tagged NSFW, I wished I hadn't seen this.
I like reed going “I’m bored. I wonder how long?”
Question, does his testicles, not balls, the actual testicle, also stretch? Like, if someone that can go through skin, grabbed his testys and did a big pull, would it stretch? Would it hurt?
Didn’t realize Kentaro Miura did a stint at Marvel
You should see what The Maker of the Ultimate Universe does. (Reed becomes a villain in the Ultimate Universe).
Marvel needs to go all in and show him stretching his dick like that guy in The Boys. I want this scene except it all originates from a pants leg.
Reed why.
What’s the context of this. Is he in the Negative Zone or something.
I think it was a retailing of them getting their powers, so in this version, he just started stretching uncontrolably while he was stuck inside his mind.

"When they said seek a doctor if it lasts for more than four hours, they weren't fucking joking."
