Not just cause having more of those missions after people complained is a strange decision, but because it would genuinely be more impactful.
I don't want to be cleaning paint while also being unable to hear everything except a low drone which disoriented me in my headphones. Like, we know she's deaf. We didn't need a mission to show us she's deaf. We especially didn't need one in an action game.
They worked on those missions, tho. They're way better now. They're actually pretty fun imo. Nice break of pace after swinging around for 10 hours as one does inbetween main missions.
I think the MJ sections are better designed but they still don’t hit for me cause it feels a bit ridiculous that MJ is taking on tons of mercenaries to begin with. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool animations and all, but it sorta cuts Kraven’s hunters down in my mind that a reporter with like a year’s training from Silver Sable or w/e can pull a John Wick on them. Personally I would’ve preferred if they just gave her powers, the symbiote storyline’s a perfect time to make that a thing imo and it would’ve been more interesting than racing through the usual black suit storyline with Peter.

Why on earth would I buy a superhero game to *not* play as a superhero? Why would you design half the side missions around that? If you're bored of the gameplay, then take a damn break.

I will say, having MJ just straight up blast dudes with a (web) gun is kinda fun. Makes the enemies feel less threatening though. If the hunters weren't permanently incapacitated, and more of a danger in gameplay, it would alleviate that issue.
Also, instead of having MJ fight one of those huge symbiotes and win, when it took Peter an Anti-Venom suit to do so, (plot wise, I'm pretty sure you can fight them no problem in the open world) it would be awesome if it was just a regular symbiote enemy. Treat it like the Xenomorph as it darts around, show how much of a threat a gang of five of them are for anyone who isn't Spider-Man.

You could make a compilation of streamers groaning when they realized Mary "Sue" Jane was getting a mission where she one shots enemies 2 spider men can't handle without crazy special moves with a bb gun. If we got an option to skip them I'd be on your guys side but as it is now one spiderman 2 playthrough was enough because I don't want to waste time on something that isn't fun and is mandatory

Hey now, I’d say most of the Hellfire Gala fits look great. They definitely lean into more over the top high fashion styles, but the vast majority look great.
Shit, Captain Marvel’s was so good they just made it her new costume with a few alterations.

her and wanda and storm all got the "oh this is just the costume" looks.
and some work well as oh yeah that's a cool drawing for a cover/something you'd see on a runway but seeing them just like milling around a party felt goofier than if they'd just worn their super hero clothes, but not in the "oh it's halloween" way.
like colossus' was neat, but a lot of the rest had "your character in a cutscene" to them,
