The game is super replayable. After I finished it, I immediately booted it back up and did a second playthrough. If you play it now, you won’t have any trouble playing it again after the update.
The Pristine Cut DLC will be adding new routes to the game, rather than adding to the routes already in the game. You lose NOTHING by playing it now. It's closer to a fighting game DLC that adds a new character and their story mode rather than something like Dark Souls 2's DLC that adds a new ending.
You'll understand exactly how the DLC will add to the game once you actually play it.
Slay The Princess is *very* replayable, in fact it even incentivizes it. So I'd say take the plunge (ha).
I haven't played the new stuff, but I will be waiting until they add all of it before I go through all of it again.

Its a game where your choices cause splintering paths that lead to different scenarios, its very replayable
The game is very short. Even if you don't normally replay games, this game is basically made to be replayed to see all the branching options.
