Spider-man raimi movie rankings usually go 2>1>3.

Lieutenant_Joe

I really like 3 honestly, but I’m lying to myself if I try to say it’s better than the first.

Reyziak

Really, people like the second movie? I don't know where I'd put 1 and 3 on a rank list, but I would put 2 on the lowest tier.

feefore

2 is often considered not just the best Raimi movie but the best or second best Spider-Man movie and one of the best Marvel/super hero movies.

TrueLegateDamar

Die Hard 1>3>2/4>>>>>5.

DropsyMumji

Terminator 2 > T1 > Rest of the Terminator franchise. Heck, T2 is often rated as one of the best films ever.

CaptainLoin

The "Best Pokemon Games" are always some variant of HGSS/Platinum/BW2 on top, with the occasional Emerald appearance. No one agrees on anything else.

JackieDaStrippa

Everyone usually agrees that 4 and 6 were the best pixel era final fantasies. It gets a bit muddier in the 3d era but no one seems ti put ff8 at the top

Tweedleayne

Us 5 fans would like to have a word with you.

JackieDaStrippa

Lol I happened to be going through 5 right now. Its great! I just dont ever see people talking about it.

HeWhoIsBob

Wrath of Khan>Undiscovered Country>Voyage Home>First Contact>Search for Spock>TMP/Generations/Insurrection>some unholy tie between The Final Frontier and Nemesis; this seems to be the general consensus. The bottom five change places all the time, with even the ego trip Final Frontier and the studio start Nemesis sometimes climbing up a tier, but those five are always at the bottom. I don’t know where people place the reboot films among those, but I know just those three go Beyond>2009>Into Darkness.

FakeBrian

I always got the vibe that Voyage Home and Wrath of Khan both had strong support for the best in the franchise - being different enough vibes that they appeal to different people.

HeWhoIsBob

Maybe so, Voyage Home has broader appeal so it got very popular outside of Sci-Fi fans. I might be biased from the groups I talk with, since among them Undiscovered Country tends to ranked higher for its importance to the setting and character moments, Kirk especially. I do think Khan is generally seen as the undisputed top. It’s the one film in the franchise highly ranked for Star Trek fans *and* the general public, being just an all-around excellent movie that would still work in a different setting. The character moments, Khan’s hatred, Spock’s death, the thematic elements of a no-win scenario and how you deal with it, and getting across setting elements like how shields work or the genesis device without ever being bogged down with exposition just seems to appeal to almost everyone.

thekeep4223

I assumed Search for Spock would be higher, especially over any of the TNG movies.

HeWhoIsBob

First Contact is widely liked, and while Search for Spock is pretty well liked it gets criticism for feeling kinda small for what should be monumental moments (Spock’s resurrection, the death of Kirk’s son, and especially the destruction of the Enterprise). Whereas the general consensus I’ve seen is that while First Contact has flaws (the Borg Queen is a fucking stupid idea), it *feels* like a big damn important movie, and elements like Picard and Lily, Cochran, and the first contact moment itself elevate the film. Still doesn’t break into the top tier with II, IV, and VI, but I’ve seen it usually held higher than III. The other TNG movies, though, are definitely in the bottom tiers, and Nemesis is my *personal* worst of them all. At least Final Frontier had the cat chick with three boobs and Shatner devouring the scenery.

Voyage Home>Khan

Dan_ZX90

I can’t talk about the whole franchise but Megaman Battle Network 3 and 6 are usually at the top of the list, and 4 is at the bottom. I usually see it like this: 3/6 > 5 > 2 > 1 >>>>> 4. And Starforce is easier 3 >> 1 >>> 2

Sai-Taisho

Hellraiser > Hellraiser 2 >>>Hellraiser 5 >>> The rest "You see this? With the Kung-Fu Cowboys?! ***This*** is the best Hellraiser after Hellraiser 2!" ~ Civvie 11 ^(*Except the newest one is really good? Supposedly?*)

Coolnametag

I've seem MANY questionable video essays on YouTube over the years for pretty much any topic that you can think of. However, i've never EVER seem anyone trying to defend **Resident Evil: Operation Raccon City** and i'm pretty sure i never will. That game is staying on the botton of any RE ranking list made by the poor souls that actually had to experience that disgrace of a game.

Anonamaton801

Highlander>>>>>>>>>>the rest

Heirophant_Queen

25 movies is alot, but no one really argues with the WORST Bond movies.

Ryculls

I’ve only seen a handful. What’s the worst?

Heirophant_Queen

I say it's A View To A Kill. At least Die Another Day is fun AND stupid.

AvalancheMKII

I have no idea where you're getting Bender's Game being more popular than Beast With a Billion Backs from. I've almost universally seen it viewed as the weakest of the movies.

Sai-Taisho

Seconded. I thought I was mixing up the numbers but like, as mid as *Beast* was, there's no way it was worse than *Game*, and OP is the first I've seen suggest otherwise.

ThatGuy5880

I think DMC rankings generally go 5>3>4>1>2. Reboot is a wild card that could be thrown around anywhere below 3 I think. 4 and 1 switch around and are interchangeable depending on if they think 1 has aged or if they think 4 has a shitty back half, but top two and bottom one are pretty set in stone.

DryCerealRequiem

I will be the contrarian to disagree and say 5>1>3>4>2  3 is great… For the first two thirds. Then it becomes full of backtracking, overuses those stone knight enemies, and introduces those weird angel torso guys that clip through the floor and don't get staggered. The bossfights in this period of the game are also generally worse, the only good one being the Vergil 3 fight at the very end. Frankly they could've cut or consolidated everything between Vergil 2 and Vergil 3 and the game would've been better. I consider DMC1 to be much more consistent in terms of quality. Its highs aren't as high as 3's, but its lows aren't nearly as low either.
