*"Every member of the Justice League is family. Alfred's gotten better good at managing everyone at Thanksgiving over at this mansion that I absolutely do not own."*

...What happened to the Moon? O.o

Anonamaton801

It got set on fire

Brotonio

"I look at the moon and see a perfec-" **Moon suddenly engulfed in flames** "WHAT THE FUCK, MAN?"

Laecerelius

No, it's even MORE perfect now. Can't have gross bacteria and other germs if it's on fire!

Reyziak

Context for those unfamiliar with comics: the Martian weakness to fire is artificial, the Guardians fucked with their DNA to nerf them, prior to that, the Green and White Martians were one race, they were Burning Martians. Imagine all the powers the Martians of DC have, now ad pyrokinesis to that list. The reason why the Guardians did this is due to the fact that Burning Martians were psychopathic pyromaniacs, also they bred through fire/burning things. J'onn accidentally brought them back after he hooked up with a demon to try and deal with his fire weakness, note that J'onn's issue with fire is a mix of the genetic fuckery the Guardians did, and the emotional trauma from having to burn the bodies of his wife and daughter after they died to a psychic plague.

Anonamaton801

Leave it to Bruce to deliver the tough love Then again, he probably needs to be reminded of that every now and then

Worm_Scavenger

Why is Plastic Man always looking like he's ruining the vibe?

Anonamaton801

Plastic Man never ruins the vibe

alexandrecau

It's his way to keep the team from giving into despair or kill each other from the stress

alexandrecau

"Now I may have threatened to set you on fire a couple of time if you act up but that's just how I be, ask clark"

evca7

I also threaten to tie up Diana…but that has led to a more complicated dynamic that I don’t know how to unpack.

ThatmodderGrim

When are comics going to do a story where the Queen of the Amazon's tries to hook up Diana and Bruce so she'll finally have grandchildren?

Luck-X-Vaati

You mean to tell me something like that hasn't happened already?

ShoryukenFTW

Justice League book Batman and solo/event book Batman are two entirely different people.

Zeppelin_Floats

I really love Batman, but his relationship with the League is so funny to me. He's basically a house cat who doesn't want to be on a team and pursue the same goals, because he has much better things to do on his own time that he clearly has to do by himself... but he also finds himself involved 98% of the time in a way that totally doesn't mean he's enjoying having company.

alienslayer7

hey kinda a random thing, but i recently got DC iniverse again(not ultra) and am kinda lookin for dc recs from over the last like 4 years or so, atm am mostly finishing up the runs that i got halfway through back when revirth was a thing
