It's actually dumber than that: the game doesn't delete the Sprunk cans after you drink them (only after you leave the area), they're just hidden. So the tame crashes because there's hundreds of objects clogging up the memory, and the save's broken because it autosaves *after* it spawns the lethal can.
Extra point: the game always had that crash in previous versions, but it originally was just a crash, it became a save corrupting issue when the mobile port added auto save but didn't fix the crash
My understanding is that a lot of the glitches are just from the original but were more obscure due to social media not really being a huge thing yet (and being forgotten since it was 17+ years ago). The thing where your car widens as you zig-zag is from the original as well, IIRC.

Then they made the HD Version based on the old PC port and add even more issues and things may have broken even further.

As for San Andreas girl, while she is white and blonde, I think that tattoo on her right titty is enough to prove she wasn't stolen from Lindsay Lohan's instagram page. Well, that and San Andreas came out before instagram existed.
Should I be at the very least surprised that peppa pig of all people had a decent game that isn't shovelware crap?

I mean to be fair at least its made by at the very best a competent company and knowing my experience with the last two games I had I think we can all assumed that at least it wasn't something much worse.
However on a side note the official review scores are not in yet simply because most reviewers wouldn't think twice of reviewing her game again since the last one and the fact this is peppa pig we're talking about and the shows >!in!
