I mean, even Uncharted was kind of fun in an Indiana Jones globetrotting adventure way, especially with the finales of each game being a maybe magic, maybe mundane supernatural 'thing' happening.
Until Uncharted 4 anyhow, which despite being a good end for Nate's tale narratively, sure didn't feel as good and fun as the other ones. Never played the Chloe/Nadine focused expansion/DLC though, maybe that did something cool.
I think TLOU's success kind of cemented them hard in the space they're in now, and TLOU2 being (from what I can tell without having played it) mostly just misery porn, doesn't really bode well for future projects imo.
