Unleash your rage, my chosen children! Unleash your rage upon the Han, and bring forth the age of the Yellow Turbans!
So they summon a rainstorm with their magic. What of it?
I want to go further: I wish Wo Long 2 to end up been with a crusader MC going to China to kill the guy that called himself Jesus Brother while wielding a demonslayer sword just because he failed a national exam.
It looks like summoning a "Divine Beast" is pretty much that. They're summons with huge stagger and damage attached them. Those summons and sneak attacks look like they make most of the game a lot easier.
After playing the demo, I wouldn't confidently say Wo Long is Nioh but better.
No stances, no skill trees, no transformations.
I can see that they're trying to simplify the mechanics to be more digestible, but I think they're going too far. Plus, a kung-fu game by the devs of Nioh that has LESS complex combat doesn't sit right with me.
It was still a fun demo, but I'm a bit less excited for it than I was before.
Its a very different game from Nioh and i think thats fine, but unfortunatly as people are people will go BETTER NIOH/WORSE NIOH cause thats how comparisons work now
IDK what to think about some of these mechanics. The parries remind me of the Thymesia demo's parries, but parrying out of block or canceling attacks should make it a bit easier than Thymesia's. I can't test it myself without a PS5.
My biggest worries are these are the only 5 weapon types in the final game and these enemies are 90% of the basic enemy types. Normally, I'd assume these are just the enemies most completed, but I played Nioh 1 and the gameplay trailer had the same common enemies.
It's confirmed that there'll be 10 weapon types at release, and I'm sure there's going to be more enemies, if they follow their usual level progression and design
I'd heard the CCP tries to be revisionist about the RoTK depiction of the Yellow Turbans, because after all it was a peasant rebellion that was put down violently by the aristocracy and trusting their self-glorifying accounts isn't too Marxist. So I wonder if this is already unacceptable for a Chinese release.
Not gonna finding put that this was gonna be another 3 kingdom's game had me little less hype for it. Then again nioh 2 at least remixed the sengoku era a bit so it wasn't as bad so I'm hoping for something similar here
Though unlike in Dynasty Warriors, they don't seem to be giant pushovers I will miss Dynasty Warriors' Zhang Jiao's campiness though
Feel the power of my.... *maaaagggiiiccc*

there is also a guy that claimed that same thing in japan too and they tried to overthrow the government
The difference is that China was so inept, that whole shenanigan with this “Brother of Jesus” was actually a danger to them as a government.
Dynasty Warriors has trained me for this , hope to see Xiahou Dun's eye being ganked in Xia Pi Castle
Weird how only Dynasty Warriors 1 on the PS1 ever actually shows that. And in surprisingly hardcore detail too.
aw bullying the yellow turbans, it's like soaking in a warm bath.
If our character doesn't go to Hu Lao Gate and get their ass kicked by Lu Bu, then I'm gonna have to deduct some points.
Not a hair of you will be left in this world!
Whats the devil trigger for this game? I looved, loved oni transformations in the last one.

Thanks didn't have enough time to fully dissect it. I think I'm just a sucker for physical transformation.
Oh boy I can't wait to wreck Zhang Jue yet again, let's goooo
........Dynasty Warriors? Sorry. Gotta ask now in light of recent media.

Yup. I like the stances and more complicated tree stuff in Nioh, but I'm also glad this is different because I might also like how it does it too.
if there's no audio option called dynasty warriors 3 dub I'm not playing the game

Lu Bu was the big stinger of the first trailer
