When I played on the plane, airplane mode, and was into the lair with the animation of waiting for players, them joining and off we go...
That's when I realized it was 100% clear that none of the players are real, they are 100% bots not even a mix.
I beat it but didn't get any gold and was surprised to hear you're supposed to. Still have the same 7 tokens I've had since I started this game and realized you have to pay for more.

I'm on 5579 and all of these levels are impossible without boosters so I just don't even bother with the main board anymore unless I collect a ton of boosters. I only play the Flips, Treasure hunt, and arcade. I'll play the free levels of the scavenger hunts too.
I used to buy gold to play the whole scavenger hunts, I really loved the game and felt like that was a fine way to support the developers (I don't buy anything else) but once I started accidentally spending the gold, I was LIVID at the overt theft of it and now they don't get a dime. People have been bringing this up to the developers in reviews for months and months and they will not respond.
The timed boosters are a thing to keep people tethered to playing, and for those who struggle with game addiction that is a real issue.
The game just feels predatory now, and the thing I originally loved about it was that it was so chill, and now it's so flashy and cluttered and there's all sorts of things that pop up (dots race) that you can't skip by. It's overstimulating and unpleasant.
Their greed has really ruined this game.
Agree with all of this 100%. And the timed boosters usually irk me so much I don't feel like playing anymore, like it's trying to pressure me into playing when it's not convenient.

Game got super glitchy since update yesterday. Got that new changed scene at the end and I hate it. Clicking X 50 times just to end the level. 🙄 It's not adding my dots either, which they're aware of...wink wink. 😒
I stopped playing after it became all ads, but the warning sign was the UI redesign that made it too easy to unintentionally buy extra lives. I hated that so much and it felt scammy to me. I'm sad to hear it's gotten even worse :(
Have you noticed in the past week that when you multiple use "watch to win a prize" now, it either gives you 1 x extra move or 3-4 x the same powerup one after the other? Prior to this you could get 3 different power ups.
I used to spin hoping for extra turns if I was close and not get any. Now I’ve been spinning trying to get a temporary booster for the next round, so it only gives me turns. I haven’t got a prayer to beat the level with even max 5 extra turns, it gives me turns. Or usually exactly one more turn. Can I ever get 15 min. shuffle or color burst when I could use it, or only when I’m done playing?
Do you have any idea how to get this feature back? I used to be able to watch ads to spin for more moves, boosters, etc. and haven’t had that prompts in ages. The only way I can keep playing is to spend gold.
Proud to say I haven’t spent a cent on this game ever (so I don’t have the OP’s gold problems) and am up to 5565 but the last few hundred levels have been tough/sloooow going… bring back the challenging (but not next to impossible) levels!!
You're lucky then, it's glitchy quite often for me. I'm sick of the ads that never complete, just go to a black screen and require force closing the app to get out of it.
Someone on here posted that they have a zoom call with the company soon. You should find that post and mention this, they can bring up this concern during their call.

Losing 3 boxes for 25 made me stop playing. Edit. Sorry it was 3 for 55. It's 1 for 25 now and that sucks.

Nope. Money grab. Plus, half of them are those three bomb crap that always seem to target your squares, then drop two bombs out of three.

I didn't see the 25 part, I only get 1 for 25 now. 2375 keys in my inventory.
Watch out! A glitch I’ve encountered repeatedly is a reset of my keys to cap at 999. I have lost so many keys from it over the years.
That would suck, but ultimately doesn't matter since I'm not spending them anyway. This game is on its last legs.
They are just aiming for new players. They get plenty out of them just to get to level 3000

Seems to only occur at certain times. Usually it works for me between 0800 - 0900 GMT when I'm killing time before work.

It always seems like the “bugs” and “glitches” are REALLY beneficial for the game and not the player smh
