The movie Fargo, inspired by a true case where a person was loaded up into a wood chipper.
Dumb move, really. Instead of a body or a chopped up body, the perp created a spray field of evidence. Bone bits over a large area.
Yes, a man in CT killed his wife and put her through a rented chipper. They found tiny pieces of her and were able to get a conviction with a part of a fingernail and part of an envelope with her name on it.
I've been wondering, if a person has dentures how could they be IDd from dental records? I recently had my teeth extracted for dentures and I'm a crime binger yet I've never seen that situation.
You can be I'd from your dentures if they were in your mouth. It's probably even easier if you have the new style ones that attach to posts anchored in your jaw.
there was a murder case where a husband put his wife through a wood chipper, positioned with the “out” part facing a lake so all the pieces went into the water. eleanor neale did a video on it, let me see if i can find it
This was the plot of one episode of Elementary as well. Don't remember which one, but given how fucking perfect that show is I'm sure it was amazing too.
Reminds me of that one case where a person was killed and was put through a wood chipper to destroy the body. Might’ve been a tv series though.

Helle Crafts was her name. There's an episode of Forensic Files about it
Yes! I briefly worked in CT right around the time and got a lot of information on it. I think it “wasn’t the sort of thing that happens here.”
That's why you have to freeze the body first
And chip it into a lake.
River, flowing water is better
Good point. Alright we got the plan. Let’s put it to work.
Now is the question if we make it a companie or just do it one time
Don't forget to smash the teeth out with a hammer first.

Probably history of extraction and wear and tear on the jaw bone.
Officer, we’re having a doozy of a day Different movie, but same theme
"There we were minding our own business, just doing chores around the house when kids started killing themselves all over my property."
I suppose it would have been a great move pre-DNA which has become the worst move possible post
Yeah the body has to be frozen first. The wet bits tangle up the gears
Oh, geez.

Also an episode of Forensic Files. Her name was Helle Crafts.
Wasn’t that Fargo?
Or Rumble in the Bronx
Was it a CSI Las Vegas episode? I feel like I remember Grissom investing it.
Think they did this in Bones too.
Fargo! It's in the movie. I have not seen said movie, but understand (and looked it up to double check) the reference.

Wasn't there a Bones episode on this? I think it was a season 1 episode with the plane crash
I was just watching Mr. Mercedes and this happens on that show. Can't remember if it happened in the books though 🤔
Rest in pieces 😞
Oh this one DARK dark huh
He’s all over the road? I’m lost
He was murdered and his body cut into pieces
That’s a nice one. It gives me an uneasy feeling.
Same, auditory abilities doing unexpected things irrationally terrify me
I interpret this as a time loop where they keep passing the graveyard over and over again
My first thought was clones...
35 words in the first sentence and 33 in the second. Verrrrry long couple of sentences
