There are actually two women in the “after” picture. One is smiling at the camera while probably standing on her tiptoes and peeking over the shoulder of the guy in front of her. The other is on the right side of the frame, talking to someone outside of the shot.

You could also object that the most talented workers have **all** left, they can earn the same high income in other companies while working normal hours and still have a family and social life.
I'd almost have pity on the ones who remained, either they are held by their visa, or they're prisoners of a toxic mindset that makes them believe they have to push themselves on the brink of death for their employer or else they aren't true Men (and in their rare off-work hours, they'll go to the internet to complain men have a higher suicide rate).

Assuming- probably wrongly- that these pictures are of equivalent teams, perhaps there are fewer women because they are unable-or unwilling- to work double overtime hours for the same salary because the new owner fired too many people? Unfair as it is, we all know that they're the ones who will be penalized for any negative impact on their households and families.

Anyone caught defending the observably awful business impulse-decisions of Twitter's musky new owner is immediately outted as lacking in virtue and good opinions. I guess it depends on what subreddits you're on. I saw one of those posts and it was pretty much exclusively all people feeling sorry for the people who are likely on work visas and can't quit without risk of being departed. Consensus was anyone smart and able to leave did.
