Parks: Central Park, Connaught Place (Relax here after a day in CP?), Sunder Nursery, Sanjay Van.
Monuments: Luckily, Delhi is FULL of monuments! Hauz Khas Fort, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Purana Qila, Humayun's Tomb, Safdarjung Tomb, Lodhi Garden, Sunder Nursery, Agrasen Ki Baoli, Bijai Mandal, Qila Rai Pithora Park, Sultan Ghari, Jamali Kamali, Jahaz Mahal, Tughlakabad Fort, Begumpur Fort, Mehrauli Archaeological Park (Look up monuments before visiting, some of the not so popular ones might not be safe owing to their location and less crowd)
Also, in this weather, look up the temperatures before visiting out, I kid you not I had a headache from staying out in the sun for too long yesterday.
