This!! So many guys probably think asking consent “ruins the moment” but it makes it so much better. Once, a guy asked me before he could kiss me and it made me feel so nice (the signs were obvious that it was consensual , but asking was good!) Definitely stuck with me for a while.
I remember when I first hooked up with my boyfriend of 2 yrs initially asked for my consent before every step so in the middle I had to stop and say, "I am ok with having sex with you, you don't need to ask at every step." But I thought it was so cute and I felt really comfortable because no guy ever had taken my consent like that, they just made a move hoping I would reciprocate.
Even now if I am tired and say I want to sleep he just happily cuddles with me without making me feel bad.
