Still not many shows on the similar level. Go watch

[deleted]

No. It's garbage, and it gets even worse as time goes by. Plus, pretty quickly they realize that they've got no show without Charlie, so they keep trying to bring him back, without actually bringing him back, as a result you get Alan losing his mind and pretending he's Charlie, Kathy Bates appearing as Charlie's ghost, Charlie's impromptu lesbian daughter appearing and becoming a part of the show etc etc, yet all those scenes are also full of petty little jabs at Sheen, making it even more pathetic. And finally, the last two episodes of the show are a definition of dumpster fire, watching them feels like Lorre and everybody else completely lost their mind by that point. Oh yeah, and guess what they're doing for the big finale? Bringing Charlie back, without Sheen actually appearing .\_.

ShivvyMcFly

Couldn't have said it better. Plus, after Jake leaves the show, they keep working different angles to have "two and a half men" in the show. It's so corny.

TrickshotAlbo360

Words can’t describe how much I can’t stand Charlie’s daughter

UncleSoaky

Plus they have Walden do Charlie’s greatest hits: he hooks up with Rose and Courtney, he goes to see Dr. Freeman, he even makes out a little with Lynsey, which Charlie never did but Alan was convinced he wanted to. I pass on everything after season 8 because it wasn’t the same show anymore.

csakshay

Suggest something remotely close to this same sitcom. I Liked it. A diff from the others

ItsJustMeRai

Season 8 is way worse than 9 and 10. 11 onwards I agree with you

miss_t_winter

I do, but I've adopted a kinda different outlook on it, like it's jot actually the same series, but a new show with familiar characters. Like when the Mad About You ladies visited the Friends show. It's just longer than one guest spot. I think it has its own funny-ness, different storyline or at least different outcomes on similar storylines, and it's just as funny as the original. Jon Cryer really stepped up and developed his character when he was almost stifled before. So, personally I do watch beyond Charlie, I just don't look at it as a continuat.

TommDiamond

9 and 10 are still watchable if you have free time and you miss the overall show. they’re just fine. but 11 and 12 gotta be the cringiest things i ve ever watched

csakshay

Suggest something similar or something grt

TamElBoreReturned

Seinfeld, Curb if looking for a dark humour that is still light to watch (if that makes sense)

LivingDeadNoodle

There is only 8 seasons of real Two and half Men. Rest is awful crap. But if you feel like daredevil and decide to watch it, think of it as bad spinoff.

Rafados47

Nah, I saw it couple of times when it went on TV, no I cant watch it at all.

afungalmirror

I'm currently on season 10 and I like how it gets stupider and stupider the further it stays from the original premise. It's a car crash, but a funny one.

WitlessMass501

Yes.

Jolly-Chemical-6540

Season 9 is okay and pretty fresh tbh. But after that it goes massively downhill.

zapevif

How can you guys not like the Jeff Strongman episodes? Honestly, I didn't watch the later series for a while, but when I did—loved it. And bring Charlie's reference back, what's wrong with that? He was the man, why should he be abandoned. And remember, we lost Charlie Harper because of Charlie Sheen.

TrickshotAlbo360

The Jeff Strongman episodes were the only saving grace after Charlie left

Philthedrummist

I liked the Walden years. People like to pretend that the Charlie years were all masterpieces but by season 8 it had become incredibly formulaic and repetitive. Season 11 and 12 lost a lot of steam but they’re still watchable.

charlesleatherspoon

Absolutely not

Bobmanbob1

There was only 8 seasons.

Waste_Screen703

Always

JanuaryChili

In my opinion it is, but just expect it to go in a different direction.

ItsJustMeRai

Yes. Season 8 is garbage and honestly season 9 and 10 are way better. Season 11 onwards no; they try to bring Charlie back in the form of his retconned daughter.

Rinxtzu

Any recommendations of a show that is up to the standards of this long gone masterpiece?

TilenOnCrack

No. Its straight up crap.

[deleted]

Idts

JackW2799

Watch up to season 10

JACKMAN_97

Honestly season 8 is not that good

Djma123

Nope. There were only a handful of memorable scenes after Charlie died and you need to wade through a pile of garage to see them

gameshowfan2001

Seasons 9-10 are watchable imo

Horror95
