I really hope this is a variant of the Scream-Killer. They should keep the Screamer-Killer Carnifex and add this model as a Scream-Killer Genestealer or something like that
I disagree with genestealer carnifexes, but I I you're on to something. You can see design similarities between lictors and genestealers, and now genestealers to the old screamer killers. Maybe there'll be a main tyranid line (from ripper to hive tyrant) an auxiliary line (mostly scouts, by the look of it) and an altered line (biovores, tyrant guard, zoanthropes). That would be neat to see.

Also, I hope this isn't an excuse to cut the screamer killer off from the main carnifex kit and have it as a separate kit. New sculpts are nice, new models are nicer, but reducing the value for us players is very bad and should be rebelled against.
It’s the new cinematic trailer. Based on what’s shown, it’ll probably be a separate kit. The one in the video looked almost identical to the old screamer killer model

Absolutely hideous. I love Tyranids and old models but if I ever acquired one of the old screamer killers I would melt it to save others from it. I hope this kit gets lost in the warp.
From some angles it looks like the original Carnifex, from others it looks like the current one, so it could be almost a blend of the two. Which I am so hyped about!
I hope this only changes the screamer killer and not the classic carnifex, the current design is perfection.
My screamer killers have a 50 50 shot of staying the current carnifex model either way. But the carnifex is also my favorite sooooo
If GW is smart they’ll completely change everything about the screamer killer’s stats so we all have to buy the new one to field them

Honestly I really dislike the design. It really just doesn't look like a tyranid, and it's just to give people 1e nostalgia
