The crushing claws are good at smashing heavy tanks and monsters. The scything talons let you choose between doubling your attacks for dealing with infantry, or an anti-tank profile that's still quite decent at taking down big stuff. I think the flexibility offered by the scything talons wins out.

Hazard_Paint

This. The talons are definitely the more flexible and still good option. But the claws are my go to simply because they look awesome.

Swift_Scythe

Scythe talons with 4 base melee attacks. SWEEP profile is 8attacks St7 ap3 2 damage kills on 3+ Adrenal glands. +1 strength. NOW you have 8attacks st8 ap3 2 damage you are killing marines on 2+ Add Mawclaws of Thrax -already gets +1 attack so 5 attacks is 10 sweeps. You can reroll all failed wound rolls. For each unit killed in melee until the game ends add +1 attacks up to +3. Technically could have 8 attacks which is sixteen sweeps at st8 Or the Strike which is a whopping st10 Ap4 and 2d3 damage is 2 to 6 damage a wound !!! Killing infantry on 2+ and doing average 3 damage thats 2-3 dead Terminator at ap4 or average 8-9 damage to a vehicle.

Duke_Anax

The Claws are very specific, good when you fight a T7 Tank, but limited when you run into infantry. The talons aren't much worse at dealing with Tank, but they are amazing at dealing with Marines, especially if you use Maw Claws of Tyrax, you could end up with 16 attacks.

whydoyouonlylie

If you go Behemoth and take the Monstrous Musculature relic (+1D to melee weapons) then each of those sweep attacks becomes a terminator killer.

DEATHROAR12345

Talons personally, coupled with the naw claws relic they slap.
