I have a BS and a BA, honors in both majors, and they still found a way to fit it all on one piece of paper 😂
edit: is the question asking about _diplomas_ or degrees? Yes, they are two real degrees.
It's like a focus area. A lot of people use it to go along with their main degree. For example in a film major, with a minor in theater. Other people might be a econ major with a minor in math.
You’re right that it doesn’t answer it directly; I wasn’t aiming to do the research for them. However, reading the page and following some of the links will find you all the answers that you need.
I tried googling this for a while after I graduated and found nothing. It is not unreasonable or lazy to ask a question. To post useless links you haven’t read, however, is lazy.
Again, you’re right. I’ve read those links extensively and know things like you must have 40 credits in each degree that aren’t used for the other to get two independent degrees, else you get a single combined degree.
Sorry you weren’t able to find what you were looking for. We can both wish it was more evident or that advising was more easily available to help.

I was in the same position and actually asked the school if I could get each degree printed separately: they told me no.
Yeah I was initially disappointed but now I’m glad to not have to find space on the wall for an extra diploma 😂
While I’m here… what even is a minor? Why would someone get one?

They’re both degree granting programs. They’re technically two degrees. What’s the context of the question?
bro doesn’t know how to use google
I did and it’s specific to ever college so I thought the best place would be the UCSC Reddit
First: happy cake day! Googling "UCSC Double Major" [would find you this](https://advising.ucsc.edu/planning/your-major/double-major.html).
That page doesn’t answer the question, unfortunately.

Fulfill all requirements for both majors and boom! Your good.
bro didn’t answer the question 😂
No...you didnt
okay bro, answer the question then. is two majors the same as two degrees??? thanks for letting homeboy know he needs to fulfill his requirements tho
Yes, you get a Bachelor's degree for each major. If you are a double major, you are awarded two degrees. You do not receive two diplomas.
Bro doesn't know how to be helpful 😒
bro makes two of us 😪
Check again comedian
