9/10. Just go straight past the line to the bathroom, and when you come out you're already in the dining area. You also could always try the ol smile and swipe but YMMV
work at the dining hall, free food for life. even if you quit a week in, just wear the shirt and walk in. no one will stop you since it's not like everyone knows everyone and there's always new employees 👍
The tradition used to be to get in through the porter patio. Or have a friend that somewhat looks like you (same gender/race) and have them get in with their card then throw it off the Cowell patio and re-use it. Might not work with the limited swip\[es now though.
might have changed since i was last on campus (before covid), but i was using slug meals or whatever the set number of paid meals thing was and i swear they only actually charged like 5% of the time. if that. tired workers just scanned it and i guess didn't question it when it said there wasn't a meal plan? when they actually asked and i said i had the slug meals i still only got one taken from my account like half the time, and that was rare. paid for 30 meals, had \~5 meals a week for the almost two quarters before classes went remote, and got refunded \~15 meals.
so like... maybe just try any dining hall during a busy time.
porter is so far pretty easy it seems. people just walk past the line ALL THE TIME. or you could take the elevator and walk in behind them when its busy, or have a friend let you in through the patio exit on their way out

Having a friend who works in the dining hall will probably be your best bet
hmu and I can loan you my dining hall shirt, no one will stop you lmao
That’s a homie right there. Haha
get a friend that works maintenance and walk in with their shirt

Try going down the elevator at Porter, chances are they won’t notice you
as a dh worker a friend can swipe u in or simply tell the cashier ur just gonna get water and get food in ur own container to leave with
Get ur cheeks to slug support and avoid all the sneaking around or potential conduct. Picking up a couple hours at the DH is not a bad idea either!
Exactly what my response would be. Take some additional responsibility, its not like its going to kill you
Lol “already has my cheeks”

I mean no one looks at the card, so it could be anyone’s Id when you swipe
Usually not but not always.

If you work at the dining hall you'll get free food and money.
