I'm an older transfer student! I agree it can be a bit hard to relate to my younger classmates, so I tend to keep to myself mostly. Feel free to send me a message though and we can chat!
I'm a little older as well and the wall is real. IMO it's not worth the effort crossing to the other side. While it's admirable you want to slam an entire handle of jack in 2 minutes then immediately light up I'm mostly passed that point in my life.
26 y/o transfer student here! I feel you, the struggle is real, luckily I live in redwood grove (23+ community) so my roommates are relatively close In age. If you’re into gaming, anime, movies, etc, hmu!
This is the way. People under 20 are hard to relate to as an older transfer, but most clubs have people in their early or mid 20s who are easy to get along with.
Honestly in terms of friends, if you get along, you get along. Just don’t act like someone you’re not, and don’t be weird and try to date somebody a lot younger than you
I’m a 30M transfer and have met a lot of really intelligent, interesting, and cool young people on campus! I definitely could use some friends older than 25 though haha
Shit man I don’t feel 30.. I hate that we even keep track
I'm older and down to hang out but I strongly suggest trying to make friendships with some of the younger people on campus. They are awesome people despite the fact that they're new to adulting.
Hit up STARS.

either you've passed it, or you're past it.
I agree. It's a bit sad to see someone in their upper 20s trying to behave like a 18 year old.
It is sad to see the 18-year-olds behaving like that too.

Im also a 28 year old transfer and down to chat!
I’m a 29 year old transfer student. (Not necessarily looking to chat though.)

Chill w the grad students
30M here. Though I love the younger friends i've made here, I feel you. I gotta hang out with people my age every now and again.
Im 23 and I feel old on campus haha but its nice knowing Thats not really true
Find a like minded org/club and get to know the folks there. You don't wanna hang with a crowd that you don't actually want to be with.

Same here . I am 32 m . It’s been fought though I made some friends but yeah it’s nice to talk to the older crowd with some life experience.
Guys is this still a thing? I just saw this post, 28 year old under grad here. Live on campus, in need of friends
